I attended an online auction and I bought a few lots...that turned into a MASSIVE vintage and antique haul!
I thought, HEY why not share the excitement of what I bought!

I recently learned about the “ring of fire” that flashes on milk glass items. They showed a few examples on vases so I’m not sure if it’s ever on other items.
I’m now on the hunt for weeding one out.

Oh my lanta the more clocks the better. We walked into a thrift store that was given a estate clean out of clocks like yours. We got around 25 clocks for 45. Love them all. ❤
The Westmoreland blue bird in the nest, blew me away!!❤🐦
I think that is a great idea around curating your sales. Not only is it fun to shop for them, but keeps it interesting for you as a seller. So glad you saved the clock cases. All were beautiful & can be turned into beautiful works of art instead of going to a landfill! Great job, Michael.🐇🐤💞

I don’t know why, but have always had a thing for tumble ups. They can go from plain to fancy ❤️ The blue birds nest is my fave piece for today. It’s a very elevated nest.

Michael, all seriousness aside… you really light my day up. I love your facial expressions and voices. I am 70 and am physically so longer to go out and shop due to rheumatoid arthritis. Pretty much housebound bound BUT actions scare the whole outta me and make me nervous. I depend on good old eBay because my hubby and two sons are dumb about vintage.

I am not a glass bowl type of girl BUT that large blue bowl with the crack is the most beautiful piece of blue patterned glass I've ever seen!
That was probs my favorite of the haul.

Nice haul of lovely glass:) The two tumblers are "Marblescent" pattern by Northwood introduced in 1889. The blue milk glass is "Challinor Scroll" by Challinor, Taylor and Co into 1891. Thank you for showing us, Michael.

When I was a kid(a million years ago) we would put our pure marbles in boiling water and then into ice water … making very pretty crackle marbles that could not be used in a game of marbles. And yes some shattered , it was fun figuring out just the right temps.

I have that blue bowl that came with the frog in green. I'm assuming it is uranium glass but never checked it with a black light. It was my grandmother's. The blue is gorgeous! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that bird/nest candy dish! And those clocks at the beginning that needed so much work? I would happily display them as-is! Amazing haul!

I tried my had and reselling because of you and Misty. I just love history and like to find new homes to keep history alive! The clocks remind me of another channel I watch and the made clock house for tiny vintage/ antique treasures that they find mudlarking

Love the French clock and the blue bird on the nest got tons of Westmoreland chicken and roosters, but not a bluebird that look like a dove. I love it.

I have tons of different types and colors of glass pieces . Now that I have so many different colors I have been switching out to incorporate them into the season or holiday decor. It really helps to make a unique impression 😊

I had a stand like the silver one and had a mirror made for the top and use as a display piece.

What a great haul from that auction house. For those great clock cases, I would make Curio cabinets out of them to hold all the great curios you have. Curio Definition: something (such as a decorative object) considered novel, rare, or bizarre.
Michael, you can use a curtain ring or shower curtain ring to display you eggs or round items. I found wood grain ones and they look great! Cheap too!

Every time I see a tumble-up I think about the movie Yours, Mine and Ours with Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda. He hands her the bottom part of the tumble-up when she wants a drink. It's so funny! If you haven't seen it, please do!!!! As far as the clocks, love them! One of the utubers I watch, Kit and caboodlers, love miniatures and redid an old clock, it was awesome!
