That Audi five pot growl is back, the same growl I had over thirty years ago in my Audi 5 cylinder 2.2 coupe. Just casually driving along the growl can be heard, blip the throttle it turns into an almighty roar. Audi have the ability to give their cars a character.

@@langraman8756 IROZ has broken axles and a driveshaft, but I don't think hes broke a pumpkin. Front wheels has no diff stock. Hes is at 8.48 1/4 1200 whp. Built motor big xona turbo.

APR pulling mad figures on there ethanol RS3 tunes but you can’t beat a custom tune. TVS engineering are the DSG tuning kings hands down

Go for the M235i but in a auto. I had a M135i in a manual but I found the gearing too long, I changed it for a auto and it was a massive improvement

Amazing sound, but should really get that engine built sooner rather than later. And I REALLY want to see a video showing the engine tear down to see its condition after this long with that insane power.

Let’s just say, the Waze app is pretty accurate on speed camera locations here in the U.K. and the police are currently so underfunded your chances of getting caught playing on some roads are next to nothing.

I like the rs3 salloon. It's at least 15k more than my m240i though so I'm happy with what i got.
Stick with your drivers car, i don't get these awd dsg cars, don't get me wrong they're mighty fast but I find them boring.
If the M240i is an auto, it could be argued that's not really a driver's car 🤷🏽♂️ also, a 740bhp RS3 is not boring - Just 'cus it's AWD & DSG, it doesn't make it an easy car to drive - they can still bite...hard.
Everyone's entitled to their opinion, you like them I don't. If it was manual and rwd it would be a lot more fun. The 5 pot sounds amazing but as a driving experience it just doesn't ✅ all the boxes for me.
Don't get me wrong, it's fast and all, but all these new Audi's to me seem really boring. No driver engagement, just plant your foot to the floor and let the car do all the work, just like the GTR. Just my opinion though don't eat me alive.

You're bang on the money. I've always wanted a fast Audi and was in the market for an RS3 a few months back. A mate of mine offered me to drive his RSQ3 and I had a go in it. Got one 2 weeks later. They're slower than the RS3s and TTRSs for sure but they're a whole lot dramatic purely because of the bulk and you can feel that with a stage 1 tune the power is pushing the limits of the chassis. Plus the surprise factor is pretty good too. Not a whole lot of m3 owners have been chopped by an Audi q3 before 😂

The problem with these newer cars is fun factor, I went out in a 600bhp GTR and yeah it was crazy fast but felt like a space ship or something. To me theres nothing like crazy power on an egg crate, struggling for grip holding the steering wheel for dear life and massive turbo lag but whatever floats your boat I guess.
If you want big power and chase numbers, gtr is the way to go!!! Big $$$ though...

I feel like the limo has more "base" to grip with the 4wd? Or am i wrong?
Wheelbase is the same between Sportback and saloon and according to the specs I've got, they weigh within 5Kg of each other.
No reason why one would perform differently under launch conditions to the other.
I do know what you mean though - the saloon just looks more hunkered down. I guess it's the overall lower body shape.

I always steer clear of Audi due to reliability issues almost everyone I know who has ever owned one has had but this is making me want to own one anyway.

If i had the money,that would be my pick right now or a ttrs.these new 5pot rs's are just on another level the new engines with aluminum block weigh 20kg less then the previous gen so the front will be less prone to understeer wich the 8p models where very prone to.I would be happy with 500-600hp in this car without the ethanol and maybe a different hybrid turbo for a little quicker spool(road use),the chassis just seems so balanced even with 740 hp,they really over engineerd these cars which is a very good thing.👍✌️👉
