I didn’t like the pick but I figured “ya know, it’s a loaded draft at WR maybe they just feel really good about who they can get later.” Nobody. No help. In a loaded class at a position of need. The rest of the Packers draft made the Love pick look even worse. No matter how much you like a guy, there’s no guarantee you’ll find a franchise QB in the draft. Rodgers, even past his prime, is still one of the best in the league and was one win away from the Super Bowl. Need to give him some help.
I hope Love turns out to be great, he has the tools and I do like him, think he could be great. Just really frustrated with the timing and the lack of willingness to help the current QB who has won a Super Bowl and two MVPs in GB.

Okay. Let me rephrase that. He’s not necessarily a “bad coach”, he has good roots. But he’s not a good coach by any means, any right minded person will tell you the packers were the fakest 13-3 team this year (idk many packers fans but I think some of you might agree with the statement?). Everybody praises Lafluer as an offensive coach. But every offense he’s ran before Greenbay has been below average, and greenbay only stayed afloat this year bc they have Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, and Aaron Jones. If y’all went defense or receiver I’d have more confidence but I honestly think the Vikings might be catching up

The Packers finally have a high quality back up Qb, something they lacked Rodgers' entire career and they paid for this over the years. Best case scenario is Rodgers plays on a high level and fulfills his contract, maybe even extends, and Love gets traded for a high pick after 2,3 years. then Packers can repeat this.

If he does play well enough to warrant a first round pick in a trade why the hell are you trading him? Are you seriously going to roll the dice on a rookie, who you're not even guaranteed to get, working out when you've already got a young franchise qb?
And there's always at least one competent qb on the market. They net their teams second or third round picks. Fourths if they're coming off of a down year.
