I think you're looking at it from the wrong perspective. They did get happy endings. Kara finally knew who she was and fulfilled her destiny. Lee is finally free to do w/e his heart desires. Did they both not look happy to you? They both seem happy to me.
These 2 are the otp of my heart/life and have been for literal years. Every time I think I'm over them I'm not!!! Thank you for understanding them so perfectly and for your gorgeous/amazing/all-of-the-adjectives vids. Seriously I never comment in anything but after watching these and reading your description here I couldn't not. Then you caught up with this spectacular underrated show and BAM it's like Christmas came earlier. Granted that only a masochist can love this kind of gifts, but I've always been one when it comes to shipping, so... Thank you for another masterpiece. The most heart wrenching of them all. i just???? don't know??? what to say??? how have you made so many full-length, beautifully long-ass vids of them that i never want to end and don't feel repetitive in the slightest? they all feel fresh and wonderful and make me cry and i think this one might be my fave yet. "did i disappoint you, bad taste in my mouth" - i legit gasped - those 2 heartwrenching horrible moments put together like that was too much, how dare you. i keep trying and failing to find the words to express to you how much this video touched my soul - every single line of the song spoke to me so profoundly through your interpretation of the words with the clips (come here for forgiveness/ raise the dead/ did i ask too much/ more than a lot -- that entire verse was just magical tbh). and 4:52-end was one of the best voiceover sequences you've ever done, i was just trembling with emotion and clutching my heart the entire time. k i'm done now. never stop being you thx
