Not really, he seems to be a moron. basically pat goes from the premise that if painkillers, adderall, and oxy are going around then why not just bring in marijuana. That’s basically how a child thinks, i.e. if incorrect things are being done then doing something a bit less incorrect is perfectly ok.
I get the feeling that pat is the type of person that badly wants to be everyone’s friend.

It's because they don't need it. It piles on top of their already dopamine filled brain. People with ADHD don't have enough dopamine flow and Adderall fills that gap. I didn't start taking it until I was 25 because I had always heard horror stories about how it makes people into emaciated zombies. The first time I took it was the first time I felt normal and dialed into the important parts of what was going on. I wish I would have started taking it back in high school because I would have probably been much more successful in school.

    • @andresno2028

ADD and ADHD is an excuse. There is nothing wrong with you you're just a drug addict. Dopamine levels fluctuate naturally. If you can't function without amphetamines (basically meth) you shouldn't be anything but a manual laborer.

Agreed. I’m ADD but I don’t take it anymore. Bc I’ve basically never been on it for an extended period of time. I learned how to channel my focus and teach myself ways to bring my mind back. It’s doable if you want to make it work

I can attest to Adderall having that affect. Had a prescription to Adderall in college. Started taking them every day before fall baseball practice and was performing great (and started dipping like a can and a half a day bc it was the only way to keep my jaw from clenching up.) We finish the fall practice season with a seven game intersquad. The night before there were a few people at my house, made the mistake of leaving my bottle of addy out on my desk. Needless to say, they were all gone when I woke up to take it the next morning. I had to pitch that day so i pounded red bull and pre workout beforehand but still felt like I a was sleepwalking....worst pitching outing of my life... never filled that rx again. If that isn't a performance enhancer I don't know what is. Lol. Side not: I also ended up having to get extensive work done on my back teeth from the constant clinching and grinding.

But there is a reason that they banned amphetamines in nearly all pro and college sports (unless u have a script and a doctor waiver). I also know I performed better with them and could pitch further into games bc I had more energy. Having to travel from Blacksburg down to, say U of Miami, didn't affect my performance like it once did. I required less sleep...but truth is, I have an addictive personality and I abused them, I was not taking them as prescribed and would normally run out a week early...so maybe if I took them they way I was supposed to, I would think differently. 🤷

It was more I just was able to pay attention to what was happening in front of me better without taking notice of things around me or getting lost in my own thoughts as easy. I stopped taking it not too long after I got because I was losing weight because my appetite was being destroyed, which was a problem because I was playing football at the time. Good thing Pat didn't play for the Bengals or he would've been cut since he wouldn't have had an indoor practice facility to work on his directional punting at 1 am

From someone who actually has ADHD, Adderall doesn’t give us that Superhero complex. It’s calming to the point where we can actually focus and complete a task.
But I still say it does give you godly reflexes.

@@AlexGarcia-mj9qn Adderall isn't meth btw before you say something of the sorts, its a mix of Dextro-amphetamine and Levo-amphetamine (ratio of 3:1, 75% D-amp and 25% L-amp). Meth-amphetamine is base amphetamine that has a methyl molecule attached to it, making it pass the BBB (Blood Brain Barrier) quicker, increasing duration and per mg dosage potency.

With the rise of vaping, there has been a rise in mysterious lung infections in habitual vapers. This infection is not the same as one would get smoking cigarettes, joints, bongs or things like that. Since vaping is at a pretty low temp, I wonder if there is more bacteria in the vapor that now has a great path to your throat, and lungs. With cigarettes or joints any bacteria is roasted away by the very high temp of the flame, not so with vaping. Am I wrong?
