Having that much trouble with Rock, I would dig two trenches all the way down where you need to be set your pulls then fill the trench back in you could put concrete around the each pull. I believe once you fill it in and by next spring it will be solid enough. Drilling in that rock is not going to get it. You'll continue damaging more poles.

I hate to say it, I really do,but, when you first brought those screw in anchors home I knew you would run into this. Just way to many rocks up there. You might want to think about pouring a concrete slab then anchor post brackets brackets to it and build treated wood frame for your panels. The weight of the slab should keep the panels from bowing around in case of high winds. Just a thought. 👍

It might be beneficial to use the auger bit to start the holes so you can drop the earth screw into the drilled hole. Set the depth to the point where the screw threads will be totally engaged in the bottom of the hole. Less friction to screw, stable hole to hold or strait, the auger can move some of the movable rocks out of the way for the screw. Just a thought.

We do frozen broccoli in the microwave in a steamer basket. Then we dress it with zesty Italian dressing. I also use it in a chicken and broccoli dish with rice (minute rice) and cream of mushroom soup (chicken breasts) and bake in the oven.

You have the equipment all there, dig 2 trenches and put your post in and backfill them with fill, use your own less the rocks and a couple of loads of good fill. You could dig some fill out around the property lots of land there.

Two long trenches. Cement block. Cut off point of pile. Put pile in block and fill with a little concrete to keep it stable. Fill back with dirt and compact.

It looks like you're going to have to dig up the entire part of where you're planning on putting those poles, pull the rocks out, and then place the dirt back over it again. A lot of extra work, but in the long-run, your poles should go in okay after that. It's amazing how many big rocks you have on your property, especially for the land being so flat like it is, lol!!

I am not quite sure, but Ground-Penetrating Radars might come handy for detecting rocks in the ground before drilling it.

Buy an auger that drills through rock! Some augers at the tip allow you to screw in the attachment that allows you to use a regular auger to drill through rock.

Yankee Ingenuity is a necessity for building an off-grid homestead. Al's got that in spades. I was thinking, maybe try to predrill the holes so you have a better idea of where you'll have problems? At any rate, I know you'll come up with a solution. 👍
