Alec Baldwin is not a firearms expert and was not under contract to ensure the safety of those weapons, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was. Baldwin didn’t load the gun, wasn’t responsible for checking the bullets; he didn’t buy or procure the weapon or the bullets. Didn’t check the gun, declare it safe, and then put it in the hands of an actor performing a scene for a movie.
The person who did that or was responsible for it, was the armorer- and she already received punishment for her mistakes or negligence.

A total waste of time and money. Thanks to the moronic defense lawyer. She had a vendetta against Mr. Baldwin and should not be practicing as a lawyer anywhere.

DA seemed concerningly inept early on, and it's quite scary they DID botch it...QUICKLY in trial...and he did not have to testify in court...while quite dubiously claiming not to have pulled trigger. Meanwhile he was let off as co producer TOO. Very alarming resolution, with plausibly dangerous person evading accountability. Affluent lawyers etc, can really determine outcomes or DA was intimidated into incompetence seems like.

Why would you say that? The prosecutor had information that could be helpful to the defendant, was required by law to disclose, and did not disclose it. And then she blamed her paralegal to deflect responsibility from herself.
You not understanding the complexities of this case doesn’t mean there was favoritism.
A simple question: if you were on trail, and the police or prosecutors hid information that would make you free, would you be ok with that?

Because it was a motion to dismiss hearing outside the presence of the jury and not the actual trial.

In all the trials I have watched in my lifetime, I have never seen so many women fuss with their hair as I did with the women who were sitting in the gallery. Haven't they heard of hair clips. It was so annoying to watch and is most insanitary as well. Wake up women! USE HAIR CLIPS and Stop touching your hair. YUK!
