They didn’t just touch on a gay storyline, they intertwined it into the story, making it epic. A love that has lasted, endured, thrived for centuries, but what standards do you set a marriage if their relationship does not define it, define love, nothing does. Now we celebrate 50 years, they didn’t have 500, they shared a thousand. Hundreds of lifetimes and you can still feel the love in these scenes. AWESOME!
I know Nicky's accent is just as thick as it is because of Luca, but I really enjoy how this works within the story. He's almost a thousand years old, part of an English speaking group, and yet he still has his accent. I just imagine Joe taking it upon himself to learn Italian the moment they met, going out of his way to communicate with him, and then the two of them always speaking Italian to each other.
Lol I agree I think they all have languages with eachother that are long dead. Btw he predates Italy so the language he was speaking was zeniese (a Ligurian dialect spoken around Genova which is where Nicky is from).

I love the fact that it was choose two beautiful guys but not some beautiful muscle hunks, that looks some models. They were choose for their chemistry that did work so well.
They mentioned Malta. I guess, in the next movie they'll go there, and we'll see some romance too ❤️
Did anyone else notice that throughout the movie every time they both died it took Nicky longer to heal then Joe? I hope that doesn’t mean anything 😔😔
The movie's only explanations for slower healing is that it is associated with being younger or tied to the severity of the injury. And Andy healed very quickly right up until the moment she didn't. So I don't think it means anything other than that Nicky probably, coincidentally, got hurt more severely than Joe.
Just a theory, but I wonder if it's tied to Nicky's personality. He's the more sensitive of the two (though of course they're both sensitive). He's the one who really feels for others - especially Nile, being the newbie in the group. He goes out of his way to be kind to her.
@Well known Yep! He's such a sweetie! But BTW - and this is for Evolution Square too - I watched the movie again last night, and Nicky revived before Joe in the beginning battle. But when Joe rose, he turned straight to Nicky before looking at anyone else.

I think its just the severity, I just finished the movie and it seemed pretty even. Like in the van Nicky took longer but after the explosion Joe took way longer. But you still made my heartbreak a little anyway with this comment!
You know..? I literally cry over Joe and Nicky's relationship. For me, their love story is synonymous with perfection! Any fanvideo I watch thrills me and piques an even greater curiosity about their story. My congratulations on the work, it is very beautiful. where does the creativity to make the videos come from? how does your creative process work?
I always wonder how is it feels to spend eternity with the love of your life, and then I see them😍😍
Don’t get me wrong, I’m fascinated by all these characters (truly a remarkable feat for a franchise starter; usually at least one character is forgettable at first). But if we ever get prequels, I could totally go for a duology in these two’s romance (I’d say a trilogy, but I think two is enough: one where the learn not to hate each other, then one where they fall in love).
Being an AroAce only hurts when I watch videos like this one! Joe & Nicky forever!! I would kill & die for these wonderful gay kings!! I'll be the mortal female self-appointed as their personal gopher!!

Oh dear. Oh my. I saw the title and was like "huh this is going to hurt :)" and somehow still wasn't prepared. Its beautiful. This song is perfect for them and the pacing of the dialogue in time with the lyrics is absolutely wonderful, thank you so much for making this!
