John, thanks for the great videos!! You really know how to find the spots!! We were out same day but the currents were really strong and we couldn’t hold bottom. We ended up trolling the rip at the race light, caught stripers and blues 4 at a time. Thanks again for your wisdom and great content!

John, I love the idea of the second camera so we can see exactly what you're doing and how the bite reveals itself. One suggestion is that you put a second mount on the bow of your boat so that you can reposition the camera mount in such a way that it isn't looking into the sun when you record. The dark rod and it's shadow against the dark water makes it much more difficult to see than if it's the reverse. Other than that I love being able to see an alternative view of your action and strikes. Thanks so much for keeping me in the hunt long after I'm able to get out on the water. Cheers !

Personally, these are my favorite videos that you do. When you just chat into the microphone, it’s entertaining. Guessing the species on the way up (almost always correct) is fun to watch. Your banter also gives us insight into how in-tune to fishing you are. At 1 point, you guessed you were about 10 seconds from your spot and I actually counted…spot on! It’s damned impressive. Keep up the great content John.

I know new 70 set you back a bit but just normal fuel and being you fish artificials costs got to be pretty low. As always love your enthusiasm with every fish caught. Lucky day for sea bass. The last two boat video trips burned 4.8 gallons for the two trips. I know this because I topped off, did two trips, topped off again. Of course I carry extra gas besides that. A Montauk fluke trip on a big CC from Greenport can easily be 75 gallons.

I intend to try your buck tail jigs in 1/8 & 1/4 oz and will order from J&H when in stock. Do these jigs imitate a food source where you are or do your Sea Bass / Striped Bass attack the jigs out of predatory instinct in your opinion ?
