I actually used to use a Psychic deck in Duel Links, based around the 3 star Psychic monsters that can special summon from the hand to go into Hyper Psychic Riser and Hyper Psychic Blaster. And Crystron Quariongandrax.
I will list things that I have learned from playing/researching the assault mode activate archetype: Cards that can help alleviate the three normal summon limit: Dark eruption can add Psi-Reflector from the graveyard to the hand PSY-Framelord Omega can shuffle Psi-Reflecter back into the deck if sent to graveyard (dogmatika) Vermillion dragon mech can return a banished tuner to hand if destroyed by card effect (it banishes a tuner from graveyard on summon) power tool dragon (adds fleuret de fleur or living fossil to hand) can enable synchro summoning of the following monsters: Goyo King _ Steals opponents’ monster after destroying opponents’ monster by battle. Battle wasp - Hama the conquering bow _ can attack twice per turn (fleuret increases attack to 3500) Karakuri steel shogun mdl 00X “Bureido” _ can summon a tuner from deck enabling level 10 - 12 synchro summons (satellite Warrior - synchro equilavent of access code talker, Baronne de fleur (yes fleuret can pass on to and from this card), Geomathmech final sigma) Crystal wing synchro dragon Cards of interest that can be synchro summoned with assault sentinel: High speedroid kitedrake _ permanently negates all face up cards the opponent controls on synchro summon. Swordsoul Grandmaster - chixiao Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn _ banish a card Karakuri synchro monsters This archetype can synchro summon within the floodgate there can only be one (assault mode activate monsters cannot be summoned however). This archetype works surprisingly well in a best of one format, for the following reasons: A fair number of opponents don’t know negating the monster revival of Psi-Reflector shuts down the deck. Some opponents don’t know Stardust dragon assault mode tributes itself as a cost for its omni negate, few opponents know it can negate and revive itself infinitely during the end phase. Some opponents somehow believe using called to the grave on the synchro monster stops the effect of assault mode activate. Hysterically funny if stardust dragon is targeted.
There is a way to essentially add four copies of Dinowrestler Pankratops to the deck. If you have foolish burial goods in hand you can send World Dino Wrestling from the deck to the graveyard and then immediately use World Dino Wrestling graveyard effect to special summon Dinowrestler Pankratops from the deck. Here are some other good foolish burial goods targets: spiritual swords of revealing light - opponent cannot make a direct attack during battle phase Galaxy cyclone - destroy 1 face up spell/trap (1 turn delay) Breakthrough skill - negate monster effect (1 turn delay)
I like how the Cyberdark Structure deck makes Fusion Deployment much easier to get. It's a neat way to bring out Albaz in Branded packages, Sangan or Witch in Dark based Fusion piles, and of course Cyber Dragon for Chimeratech shenanigans.
I wonder what kind of silliness The DuelLogs has come up with for the Limit to 1 Festival. Speaking of, I'm shocked at the fact said festival has been mostly fun. Probably because I'm actually not running into the same three or four decks over, and over, and over again. I guess not enough people have let some Yugituber with sensationalist, click bait-y video titles screaming how BROKEN something is do all their thinking for them. It is weird that I haven't faced anyone using that loaner deck with all the Rokket and Borrel monsters.
Well nearly every deck is kinda bricky....... You know unless your an asshole like me that is playing Zombies where I have like 12 way to get my win cons on the field while also locking you into zombies

I still got my IRL Psychic deck with it's assault mode. deck deals with that brick better than most. if you draw it, discard it for Psychic card and Banish it for Future Glow. +2200 ATK for everything....
