I think you have found your calling as an educator! I posted a link to your RUclips channel in this semester's GEOG 883 discussion board. Thank you so much for putting the time and effort into making these tutorials.
Was this Lidar point cloud classified in ArcGIS Pro, or in eCognition? My Lidar point cloud is not classified upon import, and I am wondering what software you recommend classifying it in?
Just came across this. I'm trying to understand LiDAR a bit better and you touched upon it here: you mentioned the first returned come from the surfaces with the highest density, is that correct?
This is excellent. I did this process on my data and get the information I needed. My range of NDSM is -0.15 to 43.57. I wonder what minus value represent. My Lidar data have 0.11 spacing.
Hi Jarlath , thank you for the excellent video! And I have a question about the ground points. How can I get the truth ground points of my data whicn is collected by my own LiDAR
Hi Jarlath great video! I have one question: My point spacing is 0,27. I want to set the sampling vaue to 0.3 but am unable to. As soon as i go below one the box is outlines in red and whilst a raster is created the cell size ends up being 10m and there is a warning about clip constraint being needed. How does one apply a clip constraint / get around this problem? thanks Uma
Thank you so much for this! I'm having to learn LiDAR analysis on the fly for a project and your video has been a lifesaver. Much appreciated!

brilliant video
great video, covers everything you need to know about processing lidar datasets. thanks man

Really educational video. Thanks!
Nice video, keep sharing :))
Hi sir, is there any site to get the las datasets for India?
Where did you acquire the dataset?
