Yes great comment. Run time is rather short. I know on our lake wave runners are out for several hours at a time. Technology needs to improve especially if you are keeping the throttle wide open!
0:51: Isn't it a big dumb, to design a motor which requires redesigning the boat? 4:31: Seeing how the battery is not included, these motors are really heavy. 11:47: She has to sound enthusiastic about a maximum running time of 2 (two) hours, then (6:51) about how quickly (hours!) you can charge a battery which only gives you 2 (two) hours on the water. Nice video, though!
Great observations! Yes, it definitely requires new engineering and I would say that puts an additional premium on the price tag of the boat. So, the customer base would be further limited. Yes, the motors are heavy and you would need at least a second battery pack to make sure you got home! Agree, but it is early in their product lifecycle. I am surprised it lasts two hours. That is a lot of juice required to push against the friction of water for two hours. Would love to see their advances over the next couple of years.

Cool tech!! 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Love it!! ❤
Glad you like it!
Great Video thanks!
You bet, more to come!
Yes, cool tech!
Keep watching. Bahamas video drops soon.
Very cool tech!!
I think so too!
Cool idea on the mercury avator. Do you just carry spares if you want to run longer??
Yes the idea is to just hot swap new battery containers.
You would have to. But where you get it??
They are pretty pricey 1k plus for each battery...yikes
Ao with the electric tillers do you just swap batteries out?
I think so, and then charge them up later!
Yes, kinda like hot swappable. Pop new one in.
Love the electric wave runner but need the price point a little lower.
It's a little pricey for sure. But really no maintenance.
I like 10 to 14k.
Still a lot for me.
check us out next time!
Just saw your info, wish I had seen you. Would definitely have wanted to do an interview. Where were you in the show?
EV Pavilion and in the main hall near Merc@@sandbarserenity
@@EVOA will catch you all next round, thanks for the heads up and you can always let us know what's next for you.
Who wants a Wave-runner that can only last for 2 hours, unless battery life is extended then I don’t think I’m interested

Thanks for your kind words. Just released a Chris Craft Boat show video, and a Bahamas video will release soon too.
@@sandbarserenity, thank you for the notification!
Just released the trip to the Bahamas video in the Sea Ray 290 SDX!
If I hit a rock or container in the ocean does it turn into a hydrogen bomb??
The tanks were pretty thick, like diving tanks. But who knows.
H2 will never get out there because where are you going to fill up compressed H2 gas in the Bahamas or at your local dock!
Agree, nice idea though.
Yep never! Cool idea though.
Agree, it would only be US based. For sure limited range. Still, cool ide.
Easy. You have a water maker, just add an H2 maker. Plus a gas generator. 😊
. Lol, indeed that is all you need. And a few billion more in research and development. 😅
