I gave up on Star Citizen. Perhaps if they ever complete it, I'll revisit the game. For now there is Starfield and I suspect there will be other space games to come well before SC ever actually becomes a game.
I certainly can't blame you. Star Citizen is one of those games I want to like and on some levels I really do. But its so rough around the edges its hard to enjoy the good aspects of it.
Starcitizen is an amazing game and thanks to Stafield I actually appricate the depth development of star citizen, Starfield had some much oppertunity however they still used the old engine from the Fallout game, and you can clearly see that. You have an exploration game but you are limited to an specific area. You give us a ship that we cant use except after a cutscene because landing and leaving is just a cutscene to load data in the background. Also why not give us a ground transport vehicle to explore the service. Sure Stafield is a released game but they are missing allot in my opinion, and the campaign is pretty pale. Now Starcitizen is having its issues aswell, the long development, the release bugs but atleast they address these in updates and its CIG is the only development study that actually give us a BTS development every friday for 1 hour. Imo I prefer SC over SL as it have allot more content and interactive event that are honest, as you can be hunted down by another player and try to run away, compared to SL which is scripted and sometimes generated.
Starfield looks like area to area box with loading screen, its not open world in classic way, its like stalker, only stalker has great feeling alive AI and its not AI generated
