ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

Personally, I feel Jake's guitar screaming interrogation technique is legitimate. He just gives up too soon.
Would that count as psychological torture? I've heard stories of people being blasted with the same music on loop to prevent any ability to rest and to mess with their head.

Jake would be a nightmare if he wasn't a police detective. He is deceptively intelligent, and he gets bored easily. He would find creative ways to mess with people.

In the video for underrated case solves, they put the most popular case solve in the entire show at the end
That was my same thought, basically every one of these clips has been put on this channel a dozen times or more in other compilations.
Especially that last one. I completely forgot about the Oolong Slayer so that clip was really cool
I think that's an indication that the best cases are all properly appreciated 👍 Tell me, which cases would you have put on the list? Which solves do you consider have been under appreciated?

The ticking clock case is one of my favorite i really loves the scene where they catch the IT guy scully and hitchcock accidently sets fire to some food hold grabs the IT guys gun and jake rolls to make him fall

I always love seeing Jake solve cases. For his childish behavior, he’s incredibly smart

Jake Peralta, the Detective is ABSOLUTE GENIUS. When in the Pilot episode, Terry told Captain Holt that Jake is his best detective, he wasn't lying. Also! That takedown on Knox was legendary.

48 hours case is my favourite episode where Peralta angers the squad by ruining their weekend plans while keeping a suspect in custody with insufficient evidence. I love the return of the skyfire episode interesting.

Honestly I appreciate the fact that because Stephanie Beatriz’s (Rosa) real voice is different enough from the character, and that she’s intentionally making it different-- that she basically did the same thing Christian Bale did as Batman in The Dark Night Trilogy 😂

The way Jake lights up and gets excited like he just solved the hardest riddle known to mankind is always so adorable, genuinely he has one of the best attitudes to he a detective, because solving cases is a high he always wants to chase

I love how this show manages to be consistently hilarious while never undermining the professionalism of the squad. They're all really good at their jobs (Hitchcock and Scully were once lol).
They still are, they just don’t try anymore because they think they have worked their fair share of cases in the past.
i can watch the highlights of this show for hours and not get tired of it lol

When I was a high school principal, one day, I saw a student using a key to open the back of his master padlock for his locker. I thought that was weird so I pulled it into my office and asked him where he got one of the keys? He told me he made it. I found this to be interesting so I asked him how he did it and where he learned it. How I got him to be more cooperative was that I acted impressed by what he had done. It seems, he took great pride in being clever. So the more I fawn over his clever active making a key out of a blank, the more he spilled the beans. Exactly like this.
