I got enlightened after watching this video. This is interesting. You gave me an idea how to improve my targeted lead generation. For context, I help bio entrepreneurs connect to their right audience. Thanks for your vid.
100% AGREE! I'm not a fan of VC's, and would like to avoid them at all costs. We need to raise funding for a dozen manufacturing shops across the USA, so it's time to get creative with the financing. 🍷🍷😎
Quick question on vesting, in my opinion, it's still not good for a founder to leave a company after 4 year of completing vesting. They may be leaving the company owning 50% of it. What safeguards are available for this? Can you agree that even after vesting, you still have to stick around, or the company will buy back the shares?
This is a great question. People leave companies. It happens. You can always have a longer vesting schedule. Or, you can buy out your co-founder. This may be a good deal for your co-founder because an exit usually takes seven to ten years. The other reality is you and your co-founder will be diluted over time because you will give equity to other employees. Watch this video for more: ruclips.net/video/1f4XQE5hNyo/видео.html

Glad to be of help, Jorge!
Final point was very surprising. Working in web3, every company I know has raised VC and I have never heard of a 1b USD exit in this industry.
Thanks for adding your thoughts, Sheldon
