Everybody loves Satisfied. I listen to it religiously every single day.
They dropped it under the table, but: In "Satisfied" Renée pulls off the second fastest rap (as in, words per second) in theater history, beaten by "Guns and Ships" (also from Hamilton) by just about 0.3 Words.
Max S. really???? wow, no wonder I can't rap it well😂😂
Carlos Alejandro Alvarenga You could look it up, there are list with the official "words per second/minute" of different musicals, and those two raps from Hamilton are at the very top.
Lin has said that he has quite the respect for the two actors, since he wrote the rap-verses but couldn't hope to pull them off (reliably).
Renée's is said to be harder, since it leaves less breaks to breathe.

That is true, although Satisfied is a lot easier to rap than Guns and Ships, because of rather short words and less changes in rhythm. But I think these two parts from Satisfied are very challenging: "and the gossip in New York City is insideous" and "he's after me cause I'm a Schuyler Sister, that elevates his status..."
Laura H. No no no, it is easier to rap Guns and Ships because it flows more easily. In satisfied "What the heck is the catch" and "It's Ben Franklin with the key and the kite" and "The conversation lasted" and did you see his answer" "He's flying by the seat if his pants". all their are harder because the syllables don't flow as well as the Ines in Guns and Ships. It kinda knotss up your tongue, not like a tounge twister, but it just makes it go stiff
Laura Heywood is hands down one of the *best* interviewers I've ever watched. She always always does her research, so it's not just the same bloody questions we've heard a hundred times before. She makes her interviews feel like natural conversations, not just this list of questions she has to ask. I'm very glad she was the one who did the build series with the Hamilton cast!

She really is! Ol' girl has INFORMATION when she sits down with her subject, surprises THEM when she brings it out, and then just chats -- and she lets THEM talk, while she listens. Loved her interview with Alex Lacamoire.
How lucky we are to be alive right now! What a privilege it is to witness this phenomenally warm-hearted, talented, enthusiastic and humble woman create such a memorable character.

Renee needs to understand that Alexander Hamilton was simply another American Napoleonic figure, that had his enemies. But his legacy, and influence are still true, to this day.
