I have always had epilepsy from brain damage. In all states, you have to go a certain time with no grand mal or petit mal seizures to be legal to drive. It was, in the many states in which I lived (Navy Wife), six months, or in some, twelve months. If she had seizures, she was required to report it to the DMV and be reviewed and cleared for driving.
Look at her speed through that parking lot. Drunk on her way to the party to party some more. That was her druken decision. A high cost, two young lives murdered at a party.
I get it and cannot begin to imagine what these families are enduring. But no one has any idea what she feels. Tbh, if she cried, people would call it crocodile tears. But, because she's outwardly stoic, she's demonized for that. We get it. She did something horrific and also needs to be an example. May justice work enough to send her to prison for the rest of her life. Histrionics don't do anything at all to ensure it.

They decided to go for a trsyt - so got into their cars and we're going upwards of 80mph in a 40 mph area...a mother and her 4 children were crossing a street - this Grossman woman hit & killed 2 of the children - one immediately - the other died at the hospital .. she had the trial delayed multiple times and even blamed her bf for hitting the 2 brothers These ppl are MONSTERS ....MONSTERS. She has lost two children, her other child cannot walk, he is badly injured, she is badly injured, what an awful situation, and she is sitting there in the same room as the MONSTER that decided to drink and drive (with a history of Seizures). Please pray for the mother’s sister too. She found those two children underneath the car before people were lifting the car to get them. Her sister and nephew completely injured and unconscious. Her other niece and nephew dead. She also had to be the one to tell her sister her children died. Pray for all of them please.

Besides the booze she shouldn’t be driving but here in Canada the person gets EEGs done and when there is no irregular brain waves to show seizure activity the person can drive. Do be honest anyone can have a seizure and never had them before. So saying why is she driving. If that state with her doctor showed she was safe to drive she can drive. Not the dui is a totally different thing. I think she blacked out and that’s when she sped into that building. So sad when kids were killed. I hope she get the max penalty since it seems by this cops testimony she was way over the limit. Also I think when you have a history of seizures you shouldn’t be drinking but that’s just my opinion. It’s her choice but if she even had one small glass of wine and has this medical history she shouldn’t be driving at all. Just a safety precaution

The spot she plowed through put her right by the bar if there hadn't been a 3 year old having a birthday party, I imagine he would have been there.

Marshella left a local tavern after 'a glass of wine' with a bowl of chili & went home. Not shown footage here: It's around 3pm. She wobbles out of her house (2 doors from boat club) & gets into her car. Backs down her driveway & backs into the neighbor's truck before getting up to 44 mph within a minute & crashing.
In a news interview she said she had no memory of the accident because of health conditions like neuropathy and heart issues.. and went on to say she loved the boat club and would never just drive into it, but she’s praying for everyone that was hurt. She believes she got in the car, seized - causing muscles to stiffen- hitting gas pedal and then crashing. She’s not accepting any responsibility at all. Doesn’t seem to care that she killed two babies.

EXACTLY! They took my license away when I had seizures. You have to be seizure free for a year before they give it back (at least in Canada). Regardless of whether she had a seizure or not she was still driving super drunk and can still be charged with the drunk driving. You don't need to kill someone to be charged with it, it just makes it so much worse. It's a choice to drink and drive, everyone knows the danger, it's murder. Hope she gets life.
Shouldn't be driving if you suffer from seizures anyway for this exact reason, if you have a seizure you could end up injuring and even killing someone or yourself....and then to be drinking alcohol on top of that! 6:49 last seizure was only in March!!!!!!! Yeah, it turns out that her seizures are caused by alcohol withdrawals...meaning, she is a full blown alcoholic, and if she doesn't get her fix, her body goes into severe withdrawals and will eventually start seizing if she doesn't get the medication needed to treat her alcohol use disorder.

36:30 exactly, she chose to drink alcohol on top of taking gabapentin, she also chose to then get in a car and drive....add to that the fact she stated her last seizure was in March so only a month prior, here in the UK you cannot drive for 5 years after a seizure due to the risk of it happening again, and I believe in Michigan it's 6 months after a seizure so the fact she was driving a month after having a seizure knowing she has a medical condition that causes her to have seizures, is taking gabapentin to control those seizures (if she was on gabapentin prior to the March seizure then it is obviously not controlling the seizures well enough for her to be seizure free, if she was only on the gabapentin since the March seizure then she had not been on it long enough to know if it was going to control the seizures), then add on the alcohol which impairs judgement alone but if taking gabapentin can also cause you to be more sleepy than usual. This woman knew the risks she was taking and CHOSE to drive that vehicle which resulted in two deaths and multiple others seriously injured.
Well I saw all of this hearing live.. She walked strange and slow out to her car. And her driving was all over the place, first she reversed really fast out of her driveway and crashed into her neighbours car, then shifted the gear to drive and drove like crazy pedal to the metal through the neighbourhood and through the wall into the party. Very interesting to blame all that on a seizure in her legs. If she had a seizure when she reversed into her neighbours car, she had to use her HANDS to shift the gear to drive.She should maybe stop there when she crashed the first time. But I guess she was drunk and didnt care. It was horrible to watch all the footage showed in evidence. HORRIBLE. She shouldnt let the victims go through anymore and bite the dust and stay in prison to the end of time. Poor all the people affected by her actions and the 2 small children dead, and their older sibling distroyed, and the mom still having medical issues. SHame on this trash of a person!!!

I live in California. I have seizures and I'm on medication for the seizures. Even though I'm on medication I'm not allowed to drive. Maybe all states need to adopt Californias law regarding this matter. 💜

This accident was a horrific tragedy! I cannot fathom the pain and anguish for the family ! When it was first covered I thought I remembered hearing her attorney state it was a tragedy but not intentional and she had suffered a seizure,, now hearing that she knew ahead of time she was prone to seizures and still drove. But more importantly she hadn’t suffered any for months and was cleared to drive and acknowledged she had several glasses of wine , acknowledged on a scale of 1-10 she was a 7, and most importantly didn’t seem bothered or concerned that she injured anyone…. After ramming her vehicle into a building where a birthday party she was supposed to attend for a child she must have known, is unfathomable-to me how she isn’t taking responsibility! I was not expecting the 12 year old to have such profound injuries still. I was holding out hope that since kids bounce back from things so easily, that he would be playing sports, doing whatever 12 year olds do again. I hope he continues to make progress and can live as pain-free as possible

Marshella left a local tavern after 'a glass of wine' with a bowl of chili & went home. Not shown footage here: It's around 3pm. She wobbles out of her house (2 doors from boat club) & gets into her car. Backs down her driveway & backs into the neighbor's truck before getting up to 44 mph within a minute & crashing.
WOW!!!!! She backs into the neighbours truck only moments before???? I hope they got that on CCTV or doorbell cam. She is done!!

In a news interview she said she had no memory of the accident because of health conditions like neuropathy and heart issues.. and went on to say she loved the boat club and would never just drive into it, but she’s praying for everyone that was hurt. She believes she got in the car, seized - causing muscles to stiffen- hitting gas pedal and then crashing.
She’s not accepting any responsibility at all. Doesn’t seem to care that she killed two babies.
Yeah, she was strait drunk when she got into the back of that cop car. Seizures were not her problem that day, it was selfishness.

Its illegal to drive knowing you have seizures. You had to be seizure free for 12 months in the UK.
EXACTLY! They took my license away when I had seizures. You have to be seizure free for a year before they give it back (at least in Canada). Regardless of whether she had a seizure or not she was still driving super drunk and can still be charged with the drunk driving. You don't need to kill someone to be charged with it, it just makes it so much worse. It's a choice to drink and drive, everyone knows the danger, it's murder. Hope she gets life.
Shouldn't be driving if you suffer from seizures anyway for this exact reason, if you have a seizure you could end up injuring and even killing someone or yourself....and then to be drinking alcohol on top of that!

Yeah, it turns out that her seizures are caused by alcohol withdrawals...meaning, she is a full blown alcoholic, and if she doesn't get her fix, her body goes into severe
withdrawals and will eventually start seizing if she doesn't get the medication needed to treat her alcohol use disorder.
She was far too lucid to have had a seizure. She's just a miserable old drunk who has not only ruined her life over the years with drinking but has now ruined the lives of many others
This woman should just plead guilty and beg for mercy from the court. Hopefully she had good insurance and it at least paid for all of the victims medical bills. God bless all of these people who have been affected.

Exactly ! 👍 I had seizures when I was younger , I couldn’t drive , drink , be around flickering lights . To this day I do not drink because those things are triggers 🤷♀️ I do not want to have them ever again !

I would be practically suicidal, beside myself, so remorseful, pleading guilty, and deserving what I got, if this had been me. 36:30 exactly, she chose to drink alcohol on top of taking gabapentin, she also chose to then get in a car and drive....add to that the fact she stated her last seizure was in March so only a month prior, here in the UK you cannot drive for 5 years after a seizure due to the risk of it happening again, and I believe in Michigan it's 6 months after a seizure so the fact she was driving a month after having a seizure knowing she has a medical condition that causes her to have seizures, is taking gabapentin to control those seizures (if she was on gabapentin prior to the March seizure then it is obviously not controlling the seizures well enough for her to be seizure free, if she was only on the gabapentin since the March seizure then she had not been on it long enough to know if it was going to control the seizures), then add on the alcohol which impairs judgement alone but if taking gabapentin can also cause you to be more sleepy than usual.
This woman knew the risks she was taking and CHOSE to drive that vehicle which resulted in two deaths and multiple others seriously injured.

Well I saw all of this hearing live.. She walked strange and slow out to her car. And her driving was all over the place, first she reversed really fast out of her driveway and crashed into her neighbours car, then shifted the gear to drive and drove like crazy pedal to the metal through the neighbourhood and through the wall into the party. Very interesting to blame all that on a seizure in her legs. If she had a seizure when she reversed into her neighbours car, she had to use her HANDS to shift the gear to drive.She should maybe stop there when she crashed the first time. But I guess she was drunk and didnt care. It was horrible to watch all the footage showed in evidence. HORRIBLE. She shouldnt let the victims go through anymore and bite the dust and stay in prison to the end of time. Poor all the people affected by her actions and the 2 small children dead, and their older sibling distroyed, and the mom still having medical issues. SHame on this trash of a person!!!

She's disabled and a victim and ready to cost the taxpayer with her plea of not guilty. Being an addict is now a disability. It used to be you lost a leg at the Russian Front to be called disabled. Now it covers addiction, a myriad of mental illnesses and more and more people are going on disability. There are probably fewer people not disabled today.
My uncle, who was put into a wheelchair at 18 by a drunk driver hitting the car he was in, used to get annoyed at folks saying he was disabled. He would correct them and say, “I’m not disabled, I’m driven….and I roll faster than you.” 😂

I live in California. I have seizures and I'm on medication for the seizures. Even though I'm on medication I'm not allowed to drive. Maybe all states need to adopt Californias law regarding this matter. 💜

This accident was a horrific tragedy! I cannot fathom the pain and anguish for the family ! When it was first covered I thought I remembered hearing her attorney state it was a tragedy but not intentional and she had suffered a seizure,, now hearing that she knew ahead of time she was prone to seizures and still drove. But more importantly she hadn’t suffered any for months and was cleared to drive and acknowledged she had several glasses of wine , acknowledged on a scale of 1-10 she was a 7, and most importantly didn’t seem bothered or concerned that she injured anyone…. After ramming her vehicle into a building where a birthday party she was supposed to attend for a child she must have known, is unfathomable-to me how she isn’t taking responsibility!
