Did this airport have only one runway? I remember landing at Kai Tak in 1991 and the approach was in the opposite direction. Does the plane's approach change depending on wind direction? The plane was a Cathay Pacific 747-400.
@PaleBit Alien A lie to the United States, really? 😅 This video was shot in April 1998 as the person who uploaded this video mentioned. This airport was closed the following July as the new Chek Lap Kok Airport was opened. The old one was one of the world's busiest airports but too small, just one runway and no space to expand, and caused severe noise pollution. The new international airport, which is the world's busiest airport in cargo traffic, is roughly 40km west from the city centre and has currently two runways, third under construction.

A lot of luck you need if you want to up and down the aircraft by using airbridge.
