Can we shoot videos also, have searched for a button in the app but it only clicks pictures via app and wifi. Even tried long pressing the button hoping it would start recording without having to go to the camera and press the record button. Can Cannon upgrade the app to include this function, it would make vlogging so much more neater. Please

Unfortunately this feature is not available on a computer however if you have an iPad or android tablet then you would be able to use our app on one of those.
You can transfer videos that have been recorded in MP4 format. The camera can record in both .MOV and .MP4 format so ensure that you are shooting in .MP4 format if you wish to transfer the video via the app.
Yes videos that are recorded in .MP4 format (not .MOV format) on the camera are able to be downloaded directly onto your phone via the Canon Camera Connect app. Keep in mind that video files are much larger than still images so you will need to ensure that you have enough storage available on your phone.
They are both linked to the network but they won’t sync up together - I am so frustrated.

Hi, if the video has been recorded in MP4 format then you can transfer it to your iphone using the Canon Camera Connect app for editing on your phone.

It may be because the camera is set in playback mode? Try setting the camera into shooting mode and then connect.
