I've never been this fast to write a comment because you need to read this- There are so many things regarding your confusion and this whole situation that I want to clear- 1.BTS are going for the military because according to South Korean laws every male under 30 Should fulfill their mandatory military service, only sportsperson were given exemption from this strict law because they represent south Korea to the world but BTS's case is special BTS are global artists who has represented SK in the UN, in the WHITE HOUSE, they have contributed to the South Korean economy, there is a rough estimate that they have contributed 29.1 TRILLIONS till now to their government they were promoting south Korean culture through their work, I can't even mention everything here , in conclusion they have done even more than a sportsperson could do so ARMYs were exepecting that they will get exemption from this law because they deserved it that's why there were so many confusion, also South Korean government was debating over this but BTS themselves decided to serve their country they didn't even wait for the government's decision, and we are proud of them for This 2. It's not that we don't support bts, we are proud of them and will always support them because after being the most capable Candidate for the exemption from this law they still decided to serve, we are angry over the South Korean government who used BTS for their own profit because of their massive success and fame, because they are the most successful artists of this world (there are so many reasons to get angry and someone who has follow BTS's journey knows it better, so you guys must be unfamiliar with that but Don't worry even we don't Know the entire situation) on 15 October BTS held their free WORLD EXPO 2030 BUSAN concert To help the government, and there was a debate that based on the attendance for their in person & online streams, based on the BTS performance to make this concert successful they will get exemption from the military service but 17 October BTS agency HYBE announced this, which was solely BTS decision because they didn't wanted to get misused by anyone anymore. 3. Regarding BTS decision, yes of course they love country so much they wanted to serve their country but not at the cost of being away from what gives them true happiness their work and performing that's why there was so long debate and so many petitions were filed to make an alternative way for BTS to fulfill their mandatory military service along with their work. This did not work as well😔 In there Busan concert they said that they want to be BTS for next 20 or 30 years, RM even said -"WE don't have to say everything clearly for you to understand us but if you keep trusting us we will be your BTS forever" They all wanted to be honest with us they asked for our support and trust an we will always💜💜💜 Sorry fo typing such a long comment but I wanted to make it easy for you both to understand the ARMYs emotions and the entire situation better, so I hope you'll read the full comment 🥺🙏🙏
Believe it or not but This was a free concert, although I couldn't attend it in person being an Indian still I watched the full concert online with my ARMY sister. It was sooooooooo amazing. You should definitely watch their RUN BTS performance from this concert. Also this was so emotional because BTS wanted share with us everything that was in their heart, they asked for our trust, I will trust them an will be here forever for them 💜 I know just by reading this that what they said is not enough, you guys should watch the video so that you can observe by yourself that how BTS was feeling at that time as& what they wanted to say to us🥺 I will provide the link in the reply 👇
