I am glad you tired the MAC paint pot primer. I never had any luck with the UD primer. I would love to know if you should try those colors again with the turquoise color and the MAC primer and see how it comes out.
I use the UD primer and don't put on as much of it as you did in the blue/teal look. I have also bought the MAC Painterly paint pot to use when I have finished other primers. The one problem I have with UD eyeshadow primers is the tube and applicator which I find more difficult to use than other makes.
Hey Tracy! Sometimes I do. It depends on the primer that I use. Some primers are more tacky than others so as you mentioned, the shadows can tend to stick. If you’re having that problem with the primer that you’re using try and set it with a powder first. That way you’re adding your shadow on top of a nice smooth powder base, and you shouldn’t have any issues with blending ☺️ x
I've noticed that if I'm blending primers just make a mess of things ...so I just skip that. Between urban decay and morphe they stay put even in humid weather - plus they look even better at the end of the day. But everyone's eye area is different. Hope you have a lovely day ☺
You guys may already know this, but what works for her doesn't always work for you. That's the downside of tutorials: it's not the same across the board. I have heavy-lidded eyes, but otherwise, I followed exactly the same strokes, colors, and intensity and my version looks nothing like hers. Nothing against the blogger, but just saying that the look you're going for because you like the shade and style may not work for you. That's the bummer part of it. For example, the color Rustler does not sit on my eyelid as well as it sits on hers. Her version looks gorgeous; mine looks like I have sinusitis or something. Anyway, go forward and be beautiful.
Again, as with every Tutorial you do, this is just stunning. I LOVE it!!! Thank you so very much for sharing
Beautiful!!! U make everything look so beautiful and seamless!!
Aw thank you so much! 🥰x
Stunning
That's a gorgeous look Eimear I'm going to copy it tomorrow when I go out for the day. Thank You 💕😊
Ah brilliant! Hope you had a lovely day 🥰x

Beautiful look ❤️ do you set your eye primer? I've find I have to set or I find the colours just stick where I place the brush.

@@EimearMcElheron thanks for the advice, I'll definitely try it ❤️
Is it best to apply setting spray to brush before or after you put the shadow on it? Thanks 😊
Spray before:)
The result was beautiful!

Beautiful look!!
I definitely think the last problem was the UD primer. I’ve always had that problem using that primer while blending different shades.
