- This week I have created a cool-ish, silvery smoked eyeshadow look that is perfect for both daytime and evening occasions. I see this silvery smoke on bridesmaids a lot as it is pretty neutral, meaning it suits most dress colours. If you want to amp up this look, you can also pair it with a Red lip - as seen in a few clips.

Yeah I found it to work for me for most of the day. Similarly to most of my higher end foundation.
I'm also a huge fan of cool tones esp that gorgeous silver you used. It's almost enough to make me buy the palette for that color alone. Do you know of anything similar to that silver but maybe more budget friendly? Loved this look, as always you look stunning.... Thanks so much for sharing❣️

Hi your eyes look fabulous , I will have to try the water line the way you have done it close to the outer line, I stopped using it because it was making my eyes red so I will have to try this way and see how I go and I'm going to share this with my youngest daughter whos 23 because she also has brown eyes , thanks for sharing this look.

What foundation would you recommend for 50+ skin. I haven't got wrinkles but the skin on my eyelids and under my eyes is very thin. I do have enlarged pores on my nose, chin and just above my nose. I don't like to look too matt anymore. 💖💖💖

I don't know why but thank you for all the ideas! It's my first urban decay palette and I was starting to think I should have bought a different one
Love this look, it's so pretty. For me, cool tones are much better. Too much warmth and I look like I'm having a hot flush! The older I get the less I'm using matte foundations. It's dewy all the way 😏.

Beautiful! And the tip about lining just the edge of the waterline is genius! I always end up with black eye-boogers in the inner corners when I line my waterline. Not an attractive look 😂

I would suggest Satin Taupe from MAC Cosmetics, it’s a lovely colour that would work with your eyes and outfit.

What a beautiful look Shonagh I love the silver so pretty your tutorials are the best. I bought that Il Makiage foundation some time ago, used it once or twice then put it to the back of all my foundations, I found it was fine if you applied it with only spf underneath but if you put too many layers of skincare on first it does not lay so well. It looks lovely on your skin though 🥰💜
I have a few foundations that don’t sit well with other products on underneath. I found this one to be okay for me personally, but your feedback is great as everyone’s skin is different. As I said, I’m moving away from using matte foundations as much now I’m getting older, so not sure I’ll reach for it much either.
