The rest of my birds need me on top form so while it’s all still very sore I said to myself I can’t just mope around for ages about it. It’s still painful but, the show must go on
Thank you, I still have rough days but the birds keep me going and knowing I may brighten someone else’s day with a nice video to watch helps me continue on
Hi Dan, hope your well! I love your content, your truly a fantastic guy who genuinely knows and cares alot for his animals, a part 2 of this video would definitely be appreciated! Keep the amazing work and humour of these types of videos coming your once again a truly fantastic guy! ❤x
I just saw one of your videos with Kit. She's soooo gorgeous. All your birds are incredible. I can see why these birds can become a lifelong passion. They are awesome creatures. And I use the word awesome quite literally. I am in awe of them 😍😍😍 Edit.... I've just watched to the end of the video and you mentioned Kit... I watched the video and am now sat here crying. You shared so much together and she was with you right up until the end. You couldn't have done any more. My heart breaks for you. She was so very special and you have those beautiful memories. She's at peace and I'm so very sorry for your loss. Your heartbreak and your absolute love for her was so very obvious in that video. She was with you and you were there for her, you were together at the end, please take comfort from that. I've lost loved ones and i wasn't there at the end, or the end was less peaceful. She slipped away gently and that is something to hold on to. God bless her. 🙏🏻 And you 💔
I'm so sorry you've received such hate and negativity over time.. you're putting yourself out, giving amazing and factually correct information inspiring the next generation of falconers.. I applaud you and encourage you.. plus you and your fiancee are ridiculously good looking!
I think the buzzards question at 10:22 was probably related to terminology. The term "buzzard" in North America sometimes refers to vultures. So I think that's where their question (joke maybe?) comes from, about using buzzards to clean up dead bodies. And yes, it's silly that "buzzard" has that connotation here. Who knows, maybe the new common names for birds (getting rid of eponyms) will fix up some of the incorrect terms too. Ben Woodruff talks about this a bit in his new video: ruclips.net/video/nTjo9LxJv9U/видео.htmlsi=F7H29y8bhy4lAnAP&t=497. Thanks for this video and all your others. You explain raptors very well.
It’s unnecessarily complicated at the moment so I welcome a change, the sooner it’s all changed the sooner we can all get used to it, I’ll check out Bens video, I need to speak to him actually about a video we are doing together
@@JayFitzsimmons1 Mine as well. I would like if Ben had a similar amount of actual bird handling content as Dan. Both are extremely good at articulating their knowledge in understandable and actionable manners.
@persephonecactus4508 they are a gorgeous species to work with aren't they? My uncle owns a falconry centre and he has one and he is the sweetest bird you could probably ever meet!
Jeffrey Dah...WTF?!? First, no you don't, and second - even if you did, who on earth says/writes something like that?? I hope you do more of these on bad-weather days! It's probably a good idea to select the questions beforehand. But do leave some saucy ones in there! LOL
Sounds like the Buzzard, dead body comment probably came from an American. We use Buzzard synonymously with Vulture. So he thinks you're flying Vultures out there. LMAO. Some folks are so easily confused. All he has to do is take one look at your bird and know it's NOT a Vulture.😂And by the way, I love your videos and your birds are gorgeous!
Waiting for the membership approval on the Facebook group. Love your read through on the American test. Love your videos
Have you been approved, I don’t have any requests?
Sorry my bad, I’ve approved you now!
It's amazing how you recovered from a loss in month's time! Happy Hawking!

Yo bro you’re videos are awesome, for someone like myself that’s new to falconry I definitely gained tons of info watching your videos 👍
Good one, Dan. A good mix of comments 😂
Thank you, I do get some odd comments sometimes

@@MercerFalconry That's great to hear. You two are my go-to RUclips falconry resources.
I love Ben's videos also. I was looking more for videos to help with my studying. It's easier for me visually. Very informative.

In UK it's not rain per se. It's liquid sunshine 🤣
You actually look great!! Like similar to myself and could pass as my son 😆
Thank you, as long as your not a psychopath cannibal I’ll take that happily 😂
Sorry for the loss of Kit the barn owl. Could i suggest if you ever want to expand your bird collection, the next bird being a brown wood owl? 😁😁
we have a brown wood owl where I work and he is amazing 🙂

Unfortunately they didn’t specify weather they meant the real guy or just Evan Peters the actor who played him, I hope they meant the actor 😂
The birds on roids??????........... I always wondered why sway was so pumped!!
It’s all the uphill flights he has to do at a place we do regular shows at that is near enough a coliseum 😂

The ridiculous questions you tried to read are fine examples of why the grammar police are necessary on the internet.
