Great video Jack. That's a nice overdrive.
Sounds great!!
excellent demo as usual Jack. Nice playing.
Many thanks!
Nice review! I recently tried this pedal and the Wampler Moxie! Purchased the Moxie!
Got a Moxie too. Love it!! Wampler is the king of dirt.
I actually just had a Moxie come in and thats my next pedal review!
@@JackFossett I look forward to hearing your opinion Jack.
@@seanjessie9921 I agree!
@@JackFossett Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it! It’s so versatile.
I have the Bearfoot Uber Bee and just love it. All the Honey Bee pedals and variants are still so under the radar for so many players and it's a shame.
I own a pcb mad professor sweet honey. It's not boo-teek but it sounds good, and it is good. THE most touch sensitive drive circuit out there --king of low gainers imo. If your clean tone is nice, any bjfe variant will make it juicier
Me too and totally agree.
Mad Professor does good work. I always loved that Golden Cello they did years ago.
I need this overdrive
nice pedal,love the p90 sg
I bet you would really enjoy the Walrus 385 unless of course you already don't.
The BJF Honey Bee is also an official BJFE kit for $100, best bargain going.
Joyo built a copy of a copy which is a dead ringer for the copy... 🤔
I have the Super Apricot. Sounds similar. Rarely ever off my board unless it was swapped out for a Golden Acorn. Six and counting, for sure this will be my 7th. Started chasing BJF's tone when I bought a Caline Queen Bee. Wanted the real thing, found One Control. Great pedals.
I think One Control are making some of the very best iterations of BJF
Would you get the super apricot if you had this one already?
@@sgall161 For sure, the Golden Acorn and the Super Apricot will always be close at hand. Both are exceptionally good drives.
The high gain crimson version is GNARLY.
Hi Jack. I got mine today and love it but noticed the pedal has a high noise floor and gives a hum, like with yours. Is that usual?
Jack, what amp are you using? Your bypass tone sounds great even without the pedal.
Excuse me, it was on the description column. Blues Jr lV, that is.
Sounds exactly like a Klon.
$240.
