Hi, I’ve got a Pioneer DMH-4450BT, I’ve got all the wiring adapters required to connect steering wheel buttons to the headunit yet when I try to program it in, the unit doesn’t register any button input from the steering wheel... could you please help me
In what country are you using this product?
Can you help me? I need to change the battery on the controller and I am not sure how to get it out? Thank you
For Pioneer remote control part number QXE1044, there is a small battery tray in the bottom of the remote control. Take a look at the back of the controller at the bottom. There is a small hole. Put a small point, for example, an unfolded paperclip, in that hole, and use the paperclip to firmly pull the battery tray out of the remote control. Hold the remote control firmly. It will require a small amount of force to pull the battery tray out of the bottom of the remote control. @@pioneerelectronics These replies about opening the battery compartment were less than complete and not descriptive enough. For example, the remote control that came with my device is Model No. CXE9605, not CXE1044. And there are TWO holes in the back of the remote control: one obvious rectangular hole (which is NOT the correct hole and whose purpose remains a mystery) and one tiny round hole, which is the one we need to use. And although you mention a battery tray that pulls out, you should also tell people that they should not try to open the entire case of the remote control. You also don't mention anywhere what kind of battery is needed. One wonders if any round 3V battery would work. Apparently, my remote control works with either CR2025 or CR2032. Please re-write your instructions to include these facts in order to be more helpful.
Pioneer deh x4790BT is it wireless remote stereo..?
Yes, I recommend Pioneer part QXE1044

I'm looking for a remote control for mhv- s420bt ? Or what is What the remote control model number ?
If you're in the US I recommend Pacparts. This is Pioneer's parts distributor in the US. You can find them here: www.pacparts.com/part.cfm?part_no=CXE9605&mfg=Pioneer
Is it possible to use a universal steering wheel remote?
I recommend to buy a new remote control from PacParts. This is Pioneer's parts distributor in the US. You can find them here: www.pacparts.com/part.cfm?part_no=CXE9606&mfg=Pioneer You can find more videos on Pioneer's RUclips Channel here: ruclips.net/user/pioneerelectronics
How do open the battery tray? I've tried everything, and it won't pop open.
The battery tray does not "pop" open. To replace the battery on the remote control on your Pioneer in-dash receiver, you'll need to pull out the battery tray. Use a paperclip or some other small point to firmly apply pressure down and simultaneously pull the tray out of the remote control. Please refer to the diagram on the back of many Pioneer remote controls. You can find more videos on Pioneer's RUclips Channel here: ruclips.net/user/pioneerelectronics
hi! i want to use an mono amp for sub in network mode.
how many amps do i need for mids. and highs and how to connect the drivers to amp or amps in network mode?
and how many speakers can I connect for high and how many for mids.?
is it possibleto run 4 mids. speakers and 4 tweeters?
thank you very much!
can you make a video about how to connect the speakers to amp/s in network mode? there is no info like this on internet.
:)
Please be aware, the Pioneer DEH-S1200UB in the video above, doesn't operate in Network Mode. What Pioneer model in-dash receiver do you have? For Network Mode operation on a compatible Pioneer receiver, I recommend the Pioneer GM-D9705 amplifier. You can see it here: ruclips.net/video/99Hfmc8QxVc/видео.html The Pioneer GM-D9705 is a 5-channel amplifier. It has the "A" Channel for operating the tweeters in Network Mode. It can operate at 2 ohms on the "A" channel. That means it can safely operate four tweeters rated at 4 ohms wired either parallel or in series. The Pioneer GM-D9705 also has the "B" Channel for operating the mids in network mode. It can also operate at 2 ohms on the "B" channel. That means it can safely operate four mid range speakers rated at 4 ohms wired either parallel or in series. And the Pioneer GM-D9705 also has a mono sub channel to power your subwoofer in network mode.
If you already own a mono subwoofer amplifier, you'll need one additional amplifier for the tweeters and mids. I recommend the Pioneer GM-D8704 amplifier. You can see it here: ruclips.net/video/E-VbUBAGwAI/видео.html The Pioneer GM-D8704 is a four channel amplifier. It has the "A" Channel for operating the tweeters in Network Mode. It can operate at 2 ohms on the "A" channel. That means it can safely operate four tweeters rated at 4 ohms wired either parallel or in series. It has the "B" Channel for operating the mids in network mode. It can also operate at 2 ohms on the "B" channel. That means it can safely operate four mid range speakers rated at 4 ohms wired either parallel or in series.
You can learn more about using Pioneer Network Mode in this video: ruclips.net/video/WvJXYh6vk_0/видео.html Please watch the complete video. There is a ton of detail in this video about using Pioneer Standard Mode and Network Mode. You can learn more about setting up your compatible Pioneer in-dash receiver in Network Mode here: ruclips.net/video/PeH_h8UHzBw/видео.html If you don't have a full understanding of this work, please take your vehicle to a qualified car stereo shop for installation assistance. Another possible 4 channel amplifier is Pioneer GM-A6704. @@deckerdotto6035 thank you very much for that. Will help me a lot. I'm gonna buy 1 DIN DVD, there are few versions, not sure which one is the best.
Yes, I will use a separate amp for sub.
So, if I understood right, I can connect low RCA output to mono amp for sub, high RCA output to A channel of a 4 channel amp. and mid RCA output to B channel of the same 4 channel amp. Thank you again. Hope to finish my project in the next 2-3 months so I can post some videos here. :)
I recommend Pioneer AVH-3500NEX as your in-dash receiver.
Yes you have the amplifier wiring correct. Wiring a 4 channel amplifier this way ( A channel separate from B channel) will not hurt the amp. Please use the crossovers and slope settings on the in-dash receiver. Please watch this video carefully, it explains wiring for Network mode: ruclips.net/video/PeH_h8UHzBw/видео.html Please watch this video carefully. It shows the crossover and slope settings for each output Low, Mid, and High on Pioneer AVH-3500NEX. It also shows speaker level adjustments for each speaker group in the system : ruclips.net/video/3t9zCiIGO7M/видео.html You can learn more about the effects of each crossover and slope setting in this video. This video is very detailed and full of the exact information you need. Please watch it carefully: ruclips.net/video/WvJXYh6vk_0/видео.html

Hello! Can I mute the system on the panel, too?
What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? I recommend to use the wireless remote control to mute the Pioneer DEH-S1200UB. I'm not aware of a way to instantly mute the receiver by using the front panel.

what is the reference of the remote control. Thanks
Please be more specific with your question. I'm not sure what you mean by "reference of the remote control".

I need one how remove small back panel to change batteries
I recommend to use a paperclip or small screwdriver or similar item as a battery tray removal tool. Put the point of the tool into the small hole at the bottom of the back of the remote control. Press firmly and simultaneously firmly pull the battery tray away from the remote control.
my pioneer remote control is not working , tried a new battery and checked my cable connections and still nothing. Has anyone had this problem ?? Anyone know how reset the remote??
Please be sure to test the remote control again for operation with a new battery and be sure the new battery is installed correctly. What cable connections are you talking about?
Pioneer car audio remote controls are infrared remote controls. This means they send out a low power pulse of invisible infrared light, sort of like a flash light, to the in-dash receiver. The receiver "sees" this light and responds.
Many modern cell phone cameras can be used to test the remote control. Point the remote at the cell phone camera and press and hold the remote's volume button. You should be able to see light from the remote control through the cell phone camera.
You don't have to program or reset a Pioneer remote control.
It's possible the remote control has or the receiver has failed.
If you want, you can buy a new remote control directly from Pioneer here: www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Accessories/Remote-Controls/CD-R510
