    Im a poo guy but theres no denying the G5 turbo doos outclimb the Polaris. The track speed seems to be slightly better on the doos, like 5-8 km per hour under max pull but honestly the Polaris seem to trench more being the biggest factor where the doo stays on top. Perfect example that you did if you compare the Lynx vs freeride like you have... same fate. They should be indentical but the freeride outclimbs the lynx with the same track and powerplant. Im leaning towards suspension setup/tunnel design being the biggest factors on why the G5 outclimbs the Poos.

    • @Stevenjweber
      @Stevenjweber 2 месяца назад

      Does the 15” wide track freeride out climb the boost? Obviously the 16” wide track summit does.

    • @MuskokaFreerider
      @MuskokaFreerider  8 месяцев назад +1

      I’m sure they’re geared for higher speed which is also probably why they blow more belts

    • @dangriesemer3710
      @dangriesemer3710 8 месяцев назад +1

      @MuskokaFreerider Slower gearing probably helps the polaris through the trees holding a edge better than the doo. I learned to ride my brake more through the trees on my doo from videos like yours keeping me under control. Just have to find the sweet spot!

    Matt can you please make “Cut the camera boys, we’re done!” The signature end to all your videos from here on out? 😂
    Great edit and no doubt those doo’s pull chutes better than the poo’s, but can’t hold an edge quite like them. That’s why you need both right? 😉

  • @themarksman1976
    @themarksman1976 8 месяцев назад

    @muskokafreerider is there any difference in some of the riding techniques (getting the sled on edge for side hills) that are different in dry powdery snow? I ride in interior Alaska and my snow is super soft dry powder? I'm struggling holding edges as the sled just wants to fall through the snow.
