- It has been a while. We're back...ready to pick it all up. The house is habitable & ready for incremental improvements. The thrust in this season is DIY. This week we hit the ground running with a simple but precision-hungry DIY project to bring that homely feel to the building. This will be a good test. Can we do it? Amazing! Contractors should not have peeled the plastic lamentations that come with those windows until all plastering and painting is complete.

I love the progress been following you guys for some time. I am worried about security tho I don't know what your plans are but I would suggest burglar bars. I bought small window alarms on Amazon 8 for abt 13 pounds probably not a long term solution but small things like that. I bought these following a burglary last week where our glass doors were smashed. But we live in a city so it's different but I guess u can never be cautious

Good work.keep it up guys. I missed you a lot. Some advice on cleaning the glass window,you don't need any chemical to get the stubborn dirty off the glass. You only need a scrapper ,just scrap it off.
21:20 This is really beautiful, watching from SA in KZN! Have enough land to build something for my Zulu wife, your project has indeed inspired me. Try using thinners for the windows that are stained with cement. It does the same thing for paint as well.
