I loved It follows. Was so fresh still retro and started this whole 80ties throwback horror movies which I mostly also enjoy more than the usually boring millennials horror crap flicks.
@@TheEbbemonster I really just loved about being thrown back into the 80ties and it had for me at least such a carpenter like style and soundtrack I just enjoyed it. Same for The Guest which I found also something more unique and not Standard happy ending and characters within the movie. Nothing outstanding but absolutely solid movies for me 😊
@@weisswurstfruhstuck8523 I really loved The Guest! I would say that it was mostly the retrowave soundtracks that gave that 80s feel. I cannot think of a 80s movie that is similar to It Follows :) But I have really enjoyed those reinterpretations of what the 80s was!
@@TheEbbemonster yup! Totally agree! The soundtrack was great! Have even the soundtrack on my Spotify account. Yeah that’s what I liked about it follows. It has this 80ties feel but it’s standing for its own still. I liked it a lot actually. Maybe yeah you should give it another shot ! ;)
I suppose a bad sequel(s) of a successful franchise probably makes a lot more money than a good horror film a lot of the time? I'll be back for your clothes, motorcycle and Scream 6
"It is all about the money, bom de dum di du dum, I don't think it's funny....." You are so right! As long as people keep watching the shitty sequels, as long they will keep making them. Just look at how shitty Marvel movies and Star Wars movies/series have gotten.... ZZZzzzzz....
@@KG-th3cr he he, I would rather be healthy at work :) But now at least I feel I achieved a little bit with my sparse energy. It is quite meditative to edit videos like this. I had four manuscripts ready, which made it all go quite fast. But now I will slow down again :)
It's Generation Z (People born after 1996/1997)
Ha ha, you are right 🤣 And now my stupidness is written in stone 😶
@@TheEbbemonster It's okay...no big deal. I enjoy your videos...short and to the point.
@@NostalgicRewinder I am glad that is shows that I try to avoid filler content :) I also prefer short and sweet videos myself.

I think I will have to give It Follows a rewatch. It was a bit overhyped when it came out, which may have affected my opinion :)

It should've been called "The Scream"
Ha ha, like "The Final Destination". Sometimes they also remove the "the" like in "Fast and Furious" 😊
And The Batman, The Suicide Squat
