I really hope Kazuya gets a redemption arc of sorts. There's really only two endings. Good or bad depending on who wins the battle with jin and kazuya. The title is low key clickbait. The "secret ending" isn't really a secret. The reina dream and tournament scene is from the side character ending which are not considered canonical.
From what I’m getting… more of a lab rat by Heihachi who was given all the attention in the world. @@nxrama-yh7tr I just figured that some other woman from some other non-Hachijo family that had the Devil Gene passed onto Reina when she mothered Reina without Heihachi realizing this since his attention is elsewhere, and as we've seen, the Devil Gene powers tend to kick in after a near-death experience which was most likely why Reina's never manifested until now.

By the way, not to be picky, but wouldn't classic Kazuya find the death of civilians for show a waste of his habilities ? He always looked like to me like the man who kills for practicality only.
You're correct... Even in both his and Minus ending it seems he only kills if you're in his way...
I've been saying there's nothing that motivates Kazuya to start a war... He's always seemed like a rich Martial Artist and a Ruthless unethical Billionaire. Not a mass murderer
I really hope Kazuya gets a redemption arc of sorts. I'm not excusing his actions at all, but a lot of his rotteness comes from how he was abused and mistreated throughout his childhood by Heihachi and how he's been taught that power is the only way to live. I feel like Jun is one of the only people who truly understands Kazuya and what he had to endure for all those years. I can possibly see him becoming kind of an anti-hero in the next game, especially considering that Jun is seen taking care of him in the Good/True Ending and the fact that he doesn't have his devil powers anymore.
@@SodaSeezn Well, his plan did happen, the “mass murder” thing was just to bait out all the puzzle pieces like Zafina into the stadium
@@SodaSeezn yeah, mass murder is more Jin's thing
Yeah, just because he's evil. Good characters can still have depth to them and Jin is a good example.
The bad ending is pretty sad considering Jun is alive. That would mean Tekken 9 could have a Jun vs Kazuya story which sounds cool tbh
a Devil are once Angels, quite fitting for Kazuya
he only became evil due to his mom and his dad Kasumi really started the whole damn thing
like a saying "All man problem started from a woman" 😂
"Good" Ending: -Reina gets whatever she wants from Kazuya.
-Jin doesn't pay for the millions of innocent people he killed
-Jin actually believing the devil gene is gone when it obviously isn't.
-Doesn't throw anyone off a cliff.
"Bad" Ending: -Kazuys loses his ability to destroy countries.
-Jin is dead
-Kazuya knows the devil gene still exists and that someone with it will show up.
-Reina doesn't get what she wanted from Kazuya.
-Does throw someone off a cliff.
Idk man, i think the bad ending is the good ending imo
I honestly hope the "bad" ending is canon. I think there is better set ups for that route.
I kinda wish both Jin and Kazuya died, that would have been more poignant. And signaled the end of Kazama-Mishima bloodfeud
But then there's Reina. Feels like Harada still doesn't want Mishima drama to completely end. For now, seems like her motive is to kill Kazuya for killing Heihachi
@@aryshandono3249 yea, agree, and maybe the next big rivalry would of been Asuka vs Reina but I guess they want to keep doing this whole cat and mouse game.
I love the good ending especially, when Jun comes around at the end to pic up the broken pieces that Kazuya is at the end. A little wholesome scene.
@@aryshandono3249 I may like both character but i wish that could happen as well
😮 So Jin actually have a.. younger aunt?
In Poland its normaly my bratha
@@tlrulebender2003 well, it's nothing weird about that. I'm just amazed. That's all.
Heihachi was just sexually active regardless of his age. Though I wonder when did he have time to conceive Reina
Funny enough Heihachi’s second Japanese voice actor Voiced Joseph Joestar, and Josuke is Jotaros uncle.
@@maikayee246my guy knows his stuff🤝 good catch
Good Ending>>>>
Does that mean you prefer the Hope Ending over the Despair Ending?
@@93SuperSonicyes
@@aldogonzalez9731 Okay, thanks.
Agreed!!
Wait...The devil gene comes from Kazumi's family blood, not the Mishima side. How would Reina have a devil form?
She must be part Hachijo as well!
And Jinpachi?
Heihachi probably fucked with a different lady who also had the devil gene
Jinpachi was possesed not genetics @@darthmerjan1645
She's probably a test tube baby
Reina Is Jin Junior And Aunt At The Same Time.
.
Jin : How I Call You? Auntie? Kouhai? Reina-Chan?
I liked it but they really screwed up by not exploring Jin, Kazuya, and Jun’s relationships. Especially bringing back Jun but she’s barely in it? Makes me appreciate 7’s story more so.
They almost went the Kazumi Mishima route with Jun Kazama but knew how well received that was (in that it wasn't).
5:16 I just Imagine Reina in her devil gene form blocking their fist like nero with Dante and Virgil in DMC 5.
2:25 Jin looks like Lucemon X.
Reina is Kazuya sister? So then, she's Jin aunt?
Like Lars yea
@@MrInuhanyou123how does she have the devil gene? That’s Jin’s sister
@@AliDaGr8 I assume when kazuya shot a laser at Reina, she absorbed it and got the devil gene or some bullshit like that. Heichachi got hit with a laser but didn't get it.
@charleshastings7260 Well we don't know if shes his legitimate daughter or lab rat yet. Heihachi had ogre in his lab and anna and nina that's it.
@@NomadMonkey396 seems like she absorbed it after the headbutt since she smiled with intent
That's not a secret ending. That's Reina's character episode ending. Her transforming into devil happens to both Kazuya and Jin's ending after post credits.
This "Secret Ending" you are putting up is just from the character Episode.
I was thinking Reina's devil form would Unknown. Because Jun Kazama is too good to be evil. Jun Kazama being Unknown would be non-canon. Reina being Unknown would be nice so that at least Unknown becomes a canon character. But in the ending Reina have her own devil form with wings.
9:39
I was a bit surprised that the character waiting for Jin was Xiaoyu and not Lars, Alisa.
Just another fan service for fan that support for Jin and Xiaoyu relationship
Imo it kinda makes sense that it is Xiaoyu that waits for him in the end because she’s one of the people Jin truly cares for, and she was in the sequence when Jin said he wanted to live, so in a way, he kept her promise and lived
10:08 Jun Kazama beside an unconscious kazuya👀
This endings marks the end of an era for the Mishima Saga, had mixed feelings right yet its still season one of Tekken 8. Performed well beyond Soul Calibur V where SC failed to deliver the final story..
What would next saga be? Assuming they won't call reina a mishima
@@Faiqal_x1103 that IDK , maybe back to square one on Tekken 1? I doubt Harada would do that, he’s his own man.
The Lore of Tekken is shaky in many aspects, however the staging is always Perfect.
Tekken's story mode has multiple endings? Have they done this before? 😮
Tekken 7 have secret end with Akuma
My english so bad👎
Now the story of Jin's son fighting Jin must come out.
he'll time travel and wind up being Jinpachi's father. Going full circle.
Man, Kazuya and Heihachi love their their secret fantasy
Wouldn't be surprised if they had an account on onlycliff's
Nice try but there is No Secert ending you just edited from the story to Renia arcade mode cutscene
Reina Mishima-sama, the unpredictable enemy
Kind of irritates me they left it on a cliffhanger because we're going to be waiting for a decade to get the rest of the story in Tekken 9.
I would've been so pissed if i got the evil ending and didn't know there were multiple endings
There's really only two endings. Good or bad depending on who wins the battle with jin and kazuya. The title is low key clickbait. The "secret ending" isn't really a secret. The devil reina scene is just the post-credits scene after you beat the game (Mostly likely setting her up as the main villain for tekken 9). The reina dream and tournament scene is from the side character ending which are not considered canonical.
I like that in the bad ending he feels remorse and didn’t kill Jin anyway
A cliff never killed a Mishima before
For Tekken 9 placed my bet for Angel Jin to be playable.
bro’s really putting the jin in jinpachi as a world peace enjoyer
No idea there was a bad ending, lol! I was doing Kazama reversals without pressing the commands, so the player had to be truly pathetic to lose. 🤷🏻♂️
Kazuya Mishima (Antonio) Father Johnny Eric Amajay
So Reina is Kazumi's daughter? Kazuya's sister? Otherwise she couldn't have the Devil's Gene, right?
From what I’m getting… more of a lab rat by Heihachi who was given all the attention in the world.
Never stops talking about the devil gene and how it works, their gene doesn’t look the same as they don’t have a third eye like the rest which is odd.
Not only that, but she really wants to kill kazuya.
@@BlueSunStudios1 Well unfortunately Azazel is dead now, so she shouldn’t even have those powers… but she does.
So her devil gene is definitely not natural like Kazumi, Kazuya and Jin.
Some Theory said that Reina is daughter of Kazuya and Anna but she believes that Heihachi is her father
3:54 JJBA reference

That unresolved trauma hit different 😂😂😂
The level of detail transitioning between CGI and in-game cutscene is hands down one of the best I've seen in a fighting game. They really took full advantage of the UE5
Love the clickbait, there is no secret ending. They just put reinas character ending from arcade mode.
No surprise Jin turned into an angel. Dude literally had angel wings since he first showed up but called devil Jin
This is gonna be best game of 2024.
Also, I hate woman bot on comments.
😮😮😮😮😮😮 Reina is a daughter of Heihachi Mishima?!?!?!?! 😨😨😨😨😨😯😯
That was obvious
Jin and Kazuya’s devil gene isn’t gone everyone…Jin still has his arm tattoo and if anyone remembers Devil Jin’s Tekken 6 ending, his Devil gene is only extinguished when that tattoo is gone
Yes but Kazuya's eye is no longer red.
@BabyZone
Have you tried to achieve a "double KO" in finał match? Is there any third ending?
Man, Reina sure is so annoying, i don't know why there is people rooting for her. Without backstory or struggle, she just shows up and then OP. What a mary sue. Even Kazuya and Jin need to struggle to be strong
I was hoping to see Jin and Xiaoyu get married along with Lars and Alisa. But hopefully they will in Tekken 9.
Alisa Boskonovich is an android. So Lars is trying to marry an android?
I just say
Krillin an #18 vibes
Reina (Deshell Anthony) Leslie Padilla
Even though it is just a dream, it is diferent to see kazuya in that despicable state of the sectet ending, but be that as it may, reina is a godess waifu
Even though Kazuya lost his devil gene he is still willing to kill Jin, this shows that Kazuya is truly evil. I still believe that Jun will somehow redeem Kazuya and they will reunite in Tekken 9
Joesph:i did it better 4:16
Gotta be honest these endings did not clutch it, there's so much that could've been done and yet they're lacking bad
Since everyone here already completed the story, can I just say that Angel Jil looks at lot like Warrior of Light from FF1/Dissidia? I mean those armor, I can’t 😂😂😂
So i encountered good and secret ending by just playing normally in hard mode?
So basically, the Mishima stripped of their power are still incredibly jacked and powerful😅😅😅
Bandai was like let’s make the ending like Scryed.
I can't get over how bad T8's story is. It should have been impossible but they even made T7 story look pretty good.
Kazuya has zero lines outside of "pathetic!!!", zero insight into the character, time wasted on the peanut gallery characters who are just jokes, Jun is nowhere to be found, Law is fighting Paul, Reina is the new devil, what the absolute fk were they thinking. People got paid to make this garbage, the 1997 anime is an academy award winning movie by comparison.
Couldnt agree more

Jin and Kazuya will team up in Tekken 9……. I’m calling it now!!!!!
