I feel Liverpool badly need a RB to cover for Trent. This hybrid role is not helping Liverpool defensively although offenswise it's ok. Trent in the central role with fabinho and thiago shud wrk fine. Gomez or Milner as RB shud definitely work atleast for the rest of the season. Henderson now plays like a retired player as those seen in charity matches.
Dier has no business playing for a premier league team. Lucas Moura is pissed because Spurs wouldn't pick up the contract extension, last time he came on as sub he got sent off within minutes. Today Moura passes the ball to the Liverpool player for the winning goal instead of passing forward again a deliberate act costing Spurs points he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team again.
Just shows that he cares. I'd rather have that than some inanimate manager who stands there accepting every decision. Along with the fact we've always had problems with Tierney whether as a referee or VAR. He used to play with Man Utd youth team or similar and he ref's a Liverpool game. Its asking for trouble.
Spurs coming back from going down in first half this season is another example of how they are better as an attacking team. They went from Poch to Conte, but even players brought in are more suited for an attacking style. Giving up an early goal sometimes happens. But giving up multiple goals in 7-8 min is not acceptable!!
I really believe that Andy Robertson needs to be dropped from the squad, he’s causing all sorts of problems and mistakes at the back. Also his distribution has been poor this season, and he’s become a very negative player, passing the ball backwards too frequently, instead of pressurising the opposition. Since his serious injury, Van Dijk is not even half the player he was, he seems to have lost his confidence and sharpness. It’s pretty obvious that Liverpool are conceding far too many goals, and the fact they have lost (I believe) 14 GAMES in all competitions this season, is proof that they have been well below par this season.
That number 4 on target accounted for all 4 goals but how can they manage to get just one shot on target after first 15 minutes of the game just annoyed me. In all, Spurs were so unlucky to give up so easily the last Liverpool's goal, let alone all 3 wood work shots, some of which should have been converted.
