      Not to worry I seen one smash bait fish next to us in the same area.

      You right about that.. he got bitten in the exact same place standing in knee deep water, I used to fish stand water often but not anymore

      Hi we know them as bartail flatheads.or gurnards.if you really like sandie.its your choice.south Africa isn't the only country who watch you tube.

      Hi Gordon, for reference, there are two types of "sandies", Lesser sand shark and Greater sand shark. (You can see this in the videos on our channel)
      A gurnard/flatty/flathead is the fish shown in this video, it's what we call it in South Africa as well.
