Just when I was starting to worry it might be hard to find a good, story focused playthrough of this game on RUclips, you upload this. Welonz never fails to deliver, thank you for playing this one!
I had not watched your letsplay of Deliver Us the Moon prior to you releasing this; but I just finished watching it, so I can enjoy this! Let's goooooo
Welonz talking about the previous game using her extraordinary memory while I sit around with my dying memory cells wondering what she is talking about TT
And haha, I love your analysis of the plot - like, there's the super complicated moon energy setup, but the sun is ... *gestures ... right ... there? Like, did solar, wind, and hydro power all just suddenly become impractical? I guess the answer is that so much energy was needed because Earth folk didn't want to change any aspects of their energy consumption. Therefore: MoonThing!
So I was going to rewatch just a little of your Deliver Us The Moon let's play before starting Mars to refresh my memory, and of course I ended up watching the whole thing again. So good. I'm really jealous of your Moonbear by the way!
Honestly, power generation isn't the biggest issue in real life, either. Like in this, it's about protecting enough natural sources of biomass to keep us going while the planet sorts itself out. With enough knowledge of plumbing and turbines, you could artificially create enough sources for hydropower on Earth. Especially considering the rising sea levels.
It kind of is though, outside of money of course. If we had unlimited clean energy, everything else would be secondary. Fossil fuels would die out in a generation, if not sooner, all the energy-demanding technologies that are otherwise generally economically unfeasible would become accessible (carbon capture, hydroponic farming,...),... You're right in that we could power the world several times over with clean energy technology we have now (solar, wind, pumped storage hydro, geothermal,...), but you have to ask yourself why we don't. And the answer to that is, as always, money. If we had an abundance of electricity, its price would go down to almost nothing, as would the profits the companies owning the power plants would earn, which in a capitalist world means that it will never happen.
I enjoyed that oddity of an early look of this game. Found it funny how you were frustrated watching your self being noob. XD Went back and watched 'Deliber us da mun' after. Should be a nice series.
That was interesting, some really great characters and the dialogue was on point like you said :) I didn’t play the first one so I’ve only seen the preview episode you did…and yet I’m already gripped :O I’m also a big fan of sunsets and calming ambient music XD
Yeah that "child" looks like a shrunk down adult. To bad they didn't go with a more simplistic style for the faces, would've made them look less jarring.
Every video that I've seen has a 'hair glitch' with Kathy. This one isn't as bad, but there is glitches, so I'm assuming it's something with the game itself.
What I don't get is why WSA still looks so shabby and poorly staffed. They essentially saved Earth twice already with the energy from the moon. Of course, it's a temporary solution that doesn't solve the underlying problem of Earth's climate change and degradation of the biosphere. However governments should've put more effort into WSA, because now they look like an amateur space club not a real space agency. It's similar to NASA in Interstellar, but NASA in that movie was basically shut down and cut off from any funding.
There's something about the character models and animations that make them all look like high schoolers. Claire and Sarah just don't give off veteran astronaut vibes.

'Never knowing for sure.' Woah, you may be on to something, I have never thought of that as possiblity.
Welonz took so long exploring that dad caught her and moon bear 😅🌕🧸
@32:00 Translation: The next time this thing breaks, it will be way harder to fix!
I enjoyed that oddity of an early look of this game. Found it funny how you were frustrated watching your self being noob. XD

Interesting game, looking forward to more!
Welonz - Thank you for the spoiler alert re: Deliver Us the Moon. I'm going to go back and watch that first!

I may be a bit late, but I’ve recently just started watching you, and it’s been so entertaining, keep it up!
Star bears sounds fun
Good stuff, keep it up :)
So many videos!
the faces a bit uncany and look older than I'm pretty sure they're supposed to.

Lots of content recently. Good stuff.
The legend of Moonbear : Zelda in space.

Yay!
yess!!
It is possible to build solar satellites and transmit power back to Earth, but it's horrendously expensive.

25:13 getting the moon wrong triggers me
omg I got here quick! I haven't seen the first game though....
I'll watch the first game first, just for spoiler issues.
I've played the first game but I remember literally nothing about it, lol. Have to watch it myself.
I will never give up hope of seeing Welonz play Hogwarts Legacy
Are you going to play hogwarts?
