LAIKA - Short Film

Created this for my Cold War History class to tie into a presentation I did. I wanted to capture Laika's fear and loneliness in space during her final moments.
Took about 1 of drawing and shooting footage, then a few days of editing. The drawings are practical while the effects are digital. I'm in the process of releasing a video where I go more in depth on editing, collecting footage, and more.
