you should do an updated video (if the owners of the property will let you) and do it like you do now with inserts of the park as it looked originally vs how it looks now sounds like it was a neat little park in its heyday!

You said you aren't a great speaker ....I disagree . I like the videos where you talk as you explore . You have a slow paced "chat " with us that adds to the experience . The park closed during the WW II years ? That's sad ...people needed something fun to do during those trying times I'm sure. A beautiful place full of happy memories from days gone by .....you did a good job of documenting it for us...thanks. (seeing the deer run by was a nice surprise ).

Another site said the property was used as a saw mill after the park closed. That may have been the reason for all the piled wood and the buildings that looked more recently used.

My mom and uncles told me as kids they used to sneak into the park with the kids of the family who owned the park, during off season, and push the coaster to the top and ride around the circuit. Until one day the old man caught them. She said my GM and GF gave them whuppings they never forgot.
I used to drive by this place regularly, the main sign still said croops, but I see now it is rusted away.

I would LOVE a live stream from here if it's not too far from you. Again, it is such a lovely spot. Do you know where the swimming pool was located? I didn't necessarily see an obvious spot where it had been. I also really miss your voice on this! I hope it's still "there" and that you could do a live stream from this spot. Amazed at how all the roller coaster wood (I am guessing that's what that wood was.). Is still perfectly stacked. Stuck in time. An old deuce you can get parts for that anywhere.
