Lighter coverage has always been my favorite. The fullest coverage I’m generally willing use is medium. I’ll only go full if it’s a major event and I’ve had no need for full coverage since I got out of high school, chorus programs and dance recitals. I’m 43 now and agree that less is more.
I’ll add I have been fairly blessed so far when it comes to fine lines and wrinkles. It’s the minimum but I have found that some foundations and powders make my skin look like I have more lines & texture than I actually do. Nothing worse than trying a new under eye concealer that makes your skin look like it’s peeling off due to it separating. I usually go thin & light reflecting in that area too, though I’ve fallen in love with Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Away Concealer. It’s the only full coverage I can use, in small amounts, under my eyes that doesn’t bunch or separate. Her powder compact is great too.

Wow! I love this look. The “no makeup” makeup is exactly my style. Minimalist, dewy, natural. Gorgeous! Thank you for bringing this brand to light. I never hear anyone talking about them and I’ve always overlooked them. I will be trying this for sure
I'm in my 50s and I like using the Perricone MD products, especially on days I'll be outdoors. Today will be one of those days because my grandsons both have baseball games. If I wear regular makeup outdoors I feel like I must look cakey and am enhancing my wrinkles . I like the more natural look. I bought some of mine at TJMaxx (check expiration date) and Perricone recently had a 50% off sale so I bought everything but the bronzer. I love it all. The mascara is nice, too. I appreciate your videos! You do a very good job.
Always a quality, thoughtful review from you Emily. There’s no way I’m going to pay that much for something so natural 😂 but I love the way you talk about things so diplomatically
I've always heard that you still need an SPF, because the amount in makeup is not enough to actually protect the skin. You'd have to use so much of it to get the actual SPF rating that it would be total cake face. 😊
True and sunscreen must be reapplied throughout the day depending on your level of activity and perspiration. My warm weather bases are BB creams or cushion foundations so it's easy to reapply sunscreen and then base.
Hey. I have been using Dr Perricone No Makeup Foundation for years! I also used the bronzer, highlighter and blush as well. I also have the lipstick and the gloss. So yes I have used it all. I absolutely love the “foundation”! It is worth every penny. I am 45 and this is actually my go to. I feel it blurs more so than coverage.
Happy to see so many reviews on these no makeup makeup items from This brand as i had been interested in these for a couple years tho not picked them up. And now I see here they’ve added to the lineup from What I knew. So much appreciation for this. Doesn’t matter if they are expensive if they work and give a great look then I am all for that!
A few years ago I got this set on Groupon for around fifty or sixty bucks. Granted, it expired within a few months. However, it is because of this line that I stopped wearing makeup. It helped me gain confidence in my own skin & even improved my skin. Now I rarely use any face makeup- unless I want a little blush or bronze
Cost aside for these particular products I LOVE seeing more natural trends coming. I’ve been concerned at the dependence on full coverage makeup, false eyelashes, etc. If you have a special need (bad acne, scarring, severe discoloration, etc) that’s one thing, but I think the average person looks so much more beautiful on the natural side (and I love makeup). A HEALTHY trend in multiple ways 😊
I love the No Makeup look. I have been trying it and my boss keeps asking if I am okay. Apparently I look sick when I do this. I am working on mastering the look.
I'm the same way, especially since my lashes and brows are invisibly blonde! If I wear light makeup I'm constantly asked if I'm sick or really tired since I'm so pale!
I’ve recently fallen in love with Perricone. In the past the make up would not be my cup of tea, but it’s ideal to wear for work as a nurse. My skin does look better with the no make up foundation. I’d like to try other items hence watching this fab vid from Emily 💖
As someone who swears by Perricone MD skincare products, I would always look at the makeup and never think much of it. I have to be honest though. As far as “no makeup makeup” , this might have been some of the best I’ve ever seen. It looked so natural yet beautiful and glowy.
Probably one of your most beautiful makeup looks ❤️ I am oily and have lots of sun damage, but I am experimenting with how I can go more towards a no-makeup, less powdery look since I’ll be 40 this year and don’t want my makeup (skin flaws!) to be so obvious. Working on it!
Hi, Emily! Good morning! I can’t tell you how much your Saturday morning videos mean to me. I look forward to them every week. It’s my reward after a hard work week. ❤️ Love you!
Ahhh! To see you shout out Zabrena made me love you even more. ❤️You two are the first beauty RUclipsrs that I committed to watching religiously. I hit your subscribe buttons very early on!👍🏼 Being subscribed to you gals has not only made me feel more confident with makeup, you’ve also renewed my faith in the existence of good people! (And in Faith itself. ✝️) The two of you are both classy, fun and thoughtful people and your integrity comes across in each and every video that you’ve put out there for us to enjoy! ❤️ (Oh yeah-and let’s not forget to mention that you are both wonderful mothers and wives.....and gorgeous gals!!!) Thank you for being you!! 😊
Love this! I would love a periodic seasonal natural makeup look from you. Using any newer products or old favorites...but for those of us who love makeup but prefer a more natural look and want to know what you would recommend for Spring, Summer etc...
I've always liked the sheer look of foundation. My fav I. The Loreal lift with the spf. I'm 70 and still love to put on my makeup every day. I really think it is what has helped keep my skin nice. Thanks for getting back to real skin.
I love your commitment to this channel... to actually go out and purchase this.... much love and appreciation! you are one of my all time fave youtubers
Dear Emily, I finally bought both your pallettes here in The Netherlands. I am so happy with them, not just because I love the products (so many purple-ish eyeshadows in the Wants Pallette!), but I’m also kind of emotional to have something you put all your effort, love and passion in, just lying on my desk next to me. Now I feel part of your YT-family and just a bit closer to you 😊 Love, Astrid
Such a natural beautiful look in the end! I am a SAHM and while I love makeup, sometimes I want a more natural but better than wearing nothing look for chasing around my kids all day at the park or wherever. Thanks for the inspiration!
Products are concentrated, so last a long time. So grateful to find these in my old age. A drop of the foundation in my palm with my sunscreen covers my face.
The lipstick looks nice. I'm into the balmy types and don't mind continual re-application. Overall, very pretty "no-makeup" look, but I find the entire line a bit gimmicky and really overpriced especially for such limited shade ranges. Have you ever done a Glossier full-face review? That would be a fun one to see you do. I have yet to try any Glossier products, but am always tempted.
If you are not a fan of this brand, you are likely going to feel the exact same way about most of “glossier” products. You’re paying a heck of a lot of money for products that don’t have a ton of pigment in them, and the ones that are good, you can find many other just as good less pricey options on the market (boy brow, mascara) etc.
I really like the way you have described the products, offered alternatives and offered an opinion on who might or might not like the products. I have a different skin tone, face shape and my skin is dry but I can use the information you have provided to make a decision on whether or not this product is for me. It is that extra thought and analysis that I find most helpful.
Doing my makeup Saturday morning watching my girl Emily. Can we get an updated no makeup rutine with only drugstore? Can't remember if we already have it.
I’m so excited about this video. I’ve hit my 40s and powder based face products are starting to look heavy on my skin so I’ve been super interested in this line and liquid/creme blush, bronzer and highlight. Thank you for this review XOXO
I really appreciate you delving into ALL brands of makeup. You are the 👑 of Drugstore and as such, I value your thoughts and opinions so much more. Sometimes pricier products, don't necessarily mean better quality. The only thing I own is the blush and I love it. I received it as a sample, and the little vial lasted forever!!!
Last year I tried the Glossier foundation because it was summer and my skin was looking pretty decent but I still wanted a little something. I loved how simple it was and combined with cream blush/bronzer/highlight I really realized that I didn't need a whole lot of coverage everywhere when I was going to be putting colored cosmetics on top of it anyways. Also, I love love love that you really made the products work for you and took the extra steps at the end of show that by adapting the basic look to your preferences you can come away with something totally beautiful! :) Really loved this video Emily! I think I'll be sticking to my Glossier products but I'd love to see more of this content from you!
I actually really, really love the look after you did the perricone makeup. You've got beautiful skin and beautiful features, and that makeup just subtly enhanced your beauty. I think skin that shows minor flaws looks infinitely more beautiful than a full coverage look. When you first put on the eyeshadow, I thought it was the dud of the bunch, but after looking at you with it on, I really liked the look. The only perricone product I've tried is the lipstick, and I love it. It's a wonderful one to throw in the purse! I'm also interested in the gloss, highlight, and concealer! Thanks for giving us a comprehensive review :D As always, you're the best.
Very intrigued. Nice and fresh and natural. I really appreciated the comparable products you mentioned. Your happy face when you put the blush on, though!! Classic Emily!😍
I've owned the eyeshadow for a while and love it. I saw Lisa Eldredge use it and purchased it. After a sleepless night it really brighten the eyes and makes me look more awake. I've even used it without any other makeup.
Love this review!!! I own some products from this line but not all, you are the first person I have seen do a review like this. PERFECT for the gym, your look is exactly what I do for the gym, I go a little lighter on the brows and the lipbalm I would have just taken my finger and rubbed it in a bit more for that "worn in" natural look. Other than that, your look is my perfect gym look. Makeup makes me feel more confident at the gym, but I do NOT want it to be obvious, has to look like I have no makeup on I just look good lol
I’ve been loving a look like this but would tend to think the “skincare benefits” aren’t worth the high prices. I’d love to see a drugstore no makeup look from you! Or an all liquid/cream look xoxo thanks em!
Nice review. My mom, who is in her early 70s and has always had good skin, swears by the Perricone skin care line and also loves the Perricone No Foundation Foundation. She gave me some samples of the No Foundation Foundation. I need to try it.
I'm coming back to this video after seeing it originally 3 years ago when it was posted, I just want to say I appreciate this review especially since I know you're someone who can do natural makeup but leans towards... more. You took the time to review this and give it a real shot without completely dogging it for not being what you normally like, and I love that about you. I'm taking the plunge, I've been curious about the blush and shadow since I first saw this, I don't know about you but you look radiant in your check in, I know it's not how you normally expect to look at your check in but gosh Emily, you look beautiful. And I've been wanting to mix the blush+shadow together and put it on my eyes since I saw this video. I'm going for it. I'm armed with a natural mascara, some bronzer, my concealer and my future dew. Bring it!
As always, a great video! I've tried the foundation, eyeshadow and lip gloss. The eyeshadow worked well as a base and didn't irritate my red, sensitive eyelids. However, your recommendation of the Garnier BB for oily/combo (much repurchased! ) works well for both face and eyelid (unfortunately COMPLETELY limited in shade). The lip gloss though is one of my favorites! Very serum-like so no real staying power but the color and moisture are great. I keep one in my bathroom and one in my purse. Emily - thank you for bringing us such great content, video after video!
For a beautiful light coverage foundation with spf, try the Natasha Denona Face Glow. I’ve been thru at least 4 of them and nothing compares. It does apply best with a brush first, then a blender quickly at the end. I absolutely love it! Thanks for the video!!
I’ve always been super curious about Perricone makeup products but never pulled the trigger due to the price and lack of reviews of this brand. So, thank you for reviewing these products for us. Hope you’re enjoying your weekend. Love you, Emily!!❤️😘 xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
If you like a lighter, natural look there is another option that is more affordable. Boots No 7 now makes custom blend foundation drops. (Target) I combine Neutrogena Ultra Sheer liquid sunscreen SPF 70, moisturizer and 3 drops of foundation drops and apply with fingers. It’s a wonderful natural foundation look.
would love to hear your thoughts on glossier products! the skin tint, concealer, and blushes would seem to give a similar look to pericone at a much cheaper cost
thats a great look on you! i've been going for the natural look lately, a bit of concealer, blush and mascara. as long as the brows are tamed its a complete look!
If I am going to spend the time to put on makeup I am not interested in looking like I don't have makeup on lol.. You always look great but this would not work for me. Thanks for the review
I was so excited to see you post this that I gasped very loudly (I mean what else is new?). My husband said “what?!?” I said “Emily Noel posted a video and I’m excited!” He said “oh I thought it was something important.” I said “excuse me it IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!”
Great video Emily...this is beautiful on you! I still have'nt gotten to try the Bareminerals Foundation yet or the Bare Rescue, I've wanted to try this for it seems like forever now, lol. I have soo many foundations and makeup in general that need's to be used before I buy anymore. Thanks for the video, have a nice week and I'll see you soon...Ly! xox
As I'm 40 now, I like this no makeup makeup look. Of course it doesn't cover my blemishes and sun spot. But I don't look sick and I look good in photos, that's enough. And perricone blush really caught my eyes here. Thank you for sharing
I used the foundation, bronzer and blush years ago and it didn’t last on my combo skin. I love the idea of this with skincare benefits and the look on you but it’s a pass for me. Great video!!!
Emily!! I’m so glad you combined the blush and highlight at the end of the video. I was going to comment that I would like you to try that. 🤗 #greatmindsthinkalike Do you think these products will be in your travel bag in Destin? Just seems like it would be perfect on freshly sun-kissed skin. 🌞
I had bought the bronzer and highlighter through Costco, but not tried them, and you inspired me to try them, and they are beautiful! So thank you very much!
It's a pass for me. The better ingredients aren't worth the extreme price, IMO. As far as the concealer, I can't help but remember Wayne Goss's demonstration of how much foundation is needed to get the full effects of SPF. SInce a full amount of foundation looked "mental," I can't imagine what a the concealer would be like! (In other words, the SPF in the concealer is effectively worthless.)
I wonder if a drop of foundation mixed with your moisturizer could give a similar look for the base? Queer Eye is such a good show! Very pretty look today, Emily!
I use the Nyx drop foundation added to a glow primer, that saves me a few steps in the morning, and what ever blush and bronzer i use also goes as my eyeshadow it's my 5 minute go to for mornings
2 things: I have become a "no makeup" makeup person over the last year and after seeing this, I think I might invest in the products because they do appeal to me (other than price but I'll deal) because they seem simple enough and have skin care ingredients. The other thing is, I don't know what's wrong with Cupcake, but if you are dealing with any kind of feeding issues, try either tuna soup (soupy tuna) or liver wurst/braunschweiger soup (soupy liver wurst). I have had cats all my life and one of those 2 "soups" has always make a sick cat decide to have a bowl of soup😻
Great video! I think the L’Oréal color riches shine in Burnished Blush May be the first lipstick I ever use up. No mirror application and it always looks amazing. I have a lot of colors but the BB matches everything and requires no thought or effort.
I am so grateful for natural looking skin treatment makeup options. However, I am a IT Cosmetics (Deep) and the darkest foundation shade was to light for me. Let’s be honest this line was not created with deeper skin tones in mind. It’s sad. I have fibromyalgia and have been told to change the products I use. To limit chemicals that seep into the skin. Great review.
I realize this is coming from a white girl, so forgive me, but why can't companies manage the inclusivity? Not just light and dark, but the undertones. I look at my Nubian sisters and see beautiful orange and purple undertones and more! I realize I paint and am trained to look at all the colors that make up who I'm painting, but really, come on people.
I love this on you like even without the extra steps i think you look amazing, it truly does look like you are wearing no makeup at all but you look perfectly even and radiant. is there any way you could recreate the look using drugstore dupes??? that would be so amazing!!!
@@skiptomyluludarling8519 And such good timing from Emily, cause it just arrived last week and I wasn't sure about tips and tricks and even how to apply it! 🙌💄👑
They only have the original shade it looks like. It's very very dark on me. Just FYI to others seeing this. They just launched other shades in the serum last month, I have the lightest shade and it's a much better shade match for me (Ulta also has 15% off right now too.)
@@SteelerssGirl I got the foundation serum which I think only comes in one shade. It's $40 for 2 oz. at Costco, plus you get a little Face Finishing & Firming Moisturizer. It's $60 for 1 oz. on the Perricone site. They have Fair, Light, and Light-Medium in the foundation in 1 oz. at Costco for $36. It looks like Costco is out of the blush, but I got that, the bronzer, highlighter, and mascara for $15-$16 each! I'm going to keep my eye out for them at TJ Maxx and Marshall's too! 😍
Happy Saturday, Emily. Yes, this is a very pretty, and natural look on you. Always enjoy your tips, and tricks.
Thank you so much for taking the money and the time to do this for us. These videos can be and are super healpful. Thank you so so much
I love the No Makeup look. I have been trying it and my boss keeps asking if I am okay. Apparently I look sick when I do this. I am working on mastering the look.
Lol.......
gretchen Anderson sounds like my boss ! 😂
😹
I'm the same way, especially since my lashes and brows are invisibly blonde! If I wear light makeup I'm constantly asked if I'm sick or really tired since I'm so pale!
Focus on the under eyes or just the eyes in general and keep the rest of the face lightweight. The eyes go a long way.. 😁😉
❤️ Love you!
thank you so much!!
Ahhh! To see you shout out Zabrena made me love you even more. ❤️You two are the first beauty RUclipsrs that I committed to watching religiously. I hit your subscribe buttons very early on!👍🏼
Being subscribed to you gals has not only made me feel more confident with makeup, you’ve also renewed my faith in the existence of good people! (And in Faith itself. ✝️)
The two of you are both classy, fun and thoughtful people and your integrity comes across in each and every video that you’ve put out there for us to enjoy! ❤️
(Oh yeah-and let’s not forget to mention that you are both wonderful mothers and wives.....and gorgeous gals!!!) Thank you for being you!! 😊
@@ramseyfitzsimmons4854 no nothing compares to glossier.
I was unsure how it looked, but once you showed the 10 hour check in natural light I LOVED how it looked! You are beautiful!
Really loved this video Emily! I think I'll be sticking to my Glossier products but I'd love to see more of this content from you!
I think Bare Minerals Bare Skin is amazing for no makeup makeup days. 😄
Linh Ha Me too!
I wanna try a no makeup makeup look, I wear very bright colors every day so I think it would be super cool to try something like this !
Emily bringin it to us like a champ once again!!!
This was great to watch! I would love to see a full face of glossier to hear your opinions because you are so thorough when describing💛
(Target)
I combine Neutrogena Ultra Sheer liquid
sunscreen SPF 70, moisturizer and 3 drops of foundation drops and apply with
fingers. It’s a wonderful natural foundation look.
I love this line. I like the look of skin and not heavy foundation. Great video!
This is right up my alley! I LOVE this look! I’ve been waiting for years for a major influencer like yourself to review the line! Thank you!
would love to hear your thoughts on glossier products! the skin tint, concealer, and blushes would seem to give a similar look to pericone at a much cheaper cost
thats a great look on you! i've been going for the natural look lately, a bit of concealer, blush and mascara. as long as the brows are tamed its a complete look!
If I get a Costco membership, maybe this would be a good skincare makeup look for days just running errands. Thank you to whomever brought up Costco!
Larissa Hall Costco is my favorite place ❤️ lol. Seriously love it so much. And they have a ton of brand name makeup/skincare online!
If I am going to spend the time to put on makeup I am not interested in looking like I don't have makeup on lol.. You always look great but this would not work for me. Thanks for the review
Thank you for the video. I just looked them up, they're cruelty free. I didn't think they were. Cool! I can try it in the future.
I was so excited to see you post this that I gasped very loudly (I mean what else is new?). My husband said “what?!?” I said “Emily Noel posted a video and I’m excited!” He said “oh I thought it was something important.” I said “excuse me it IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!”
Carrie Carroll Guys don’t get it 😂
Emily you looks so youthful and amazing with this more natural make up! Even before did your eyebrows!
U give me my Saturday Joy Em!! Love ur videos love ur content love spending my sat with the best you tuber out there!!🥰♥️🥰♥️🥰
Emily!! I’m so glad you combined the blush and highlight at the end of the video. I was going to comment that I would like you to try that. 🤗 #greatmindsthinkalike
Do you think these products will be in your travel bag in Destin? Just seems like it would be perfect on freshly sun-kissed skin. 🌞
Happy Saturday morning Emily! Today is my 20th birthday and I know this video is going to be a great start to my day ☺️
Happy birthday 🎈🎉🎂🎊
Yay!!! Happy Birthday! I hope it's great!!
Happy Birthday 🎉🎈🎂
((((Happy Birthday ))) 🎂🦋💐🌻💐😻
Happy, happy birthday, dear heart!
I had bought the bronzer and highlighter through Costco, but not tried them, and you inspired me to try them, and they are beautiful! So thank you very much!
Oh my gosh, I was just thinking this past week that I wished someone did a full-face of Perricone MD!! Thanks Emily!!! :D
You've mentioned Cupcake has been to the vet. I hope she's OK.
When I saw Emily say she wasn't crying because of her cat, my heart sank! I hope Cupcake is okay!
Wow it really looks good after some wear time. Almost better in time
It's a pass for me.
I use cover fx custom cover drops with moisturizer and it’s nice.
Emily! I’ve been seeing the foundation and concealer popping up at my local marshals/Tj Maxx!
Some are available at TJMAXX online also.
This is the first “no makeup makeup look” that truly looks like no makeup I’ve seen. Beautiful!
Auntie Yaya tarted has expanded their line like Fenty.....my hope is that more lines will be more inclusive
Thank you for this! The It Cosmetics deep is too light for me, so no I know this definitely won’t work.
LisaD GingerSnaps tarted does have a line that has different undertones. I haven’t tried it yet, but planning to
Andrea Pope Tarte is supposed to be a more natural makeup line, I hope you find something that works for you!
I love this on you like even without the extra steps i think you look amazing, it truly does look like you are wearing no makeup at all but you look perfectly even and radiant. is there any way you could recreate the look using drugstore dupes??? that would be so amazing!!!
I just got almost all the products at Costco for less than half price of most places! Cha-ching! 🤑🤩 You're welcome 😎😜
vitaminj7 😲😲😲 That’s amazing!
The no shadow shadow is so nice!!
Happy Caturday Em and friends 😸☕️
Mow! Ppprrrrrrr........😻

Happy Saturday, Emily. Yes, this is a very pretty, and natural look on you. Always enjoy your tips, and tricks. The very first brand (I knew of) that had skin care ingredients in their products was IT Cosmetics. Most of their products really work for me, so thankfully I'm not tempted to try Perricone. Have a beautiful weekend. Blessings, and love..MaryEllen
MaryEllen After 60 I also love It cosmetics products on my 62 year old skin! And, fortunately, it often goes on sale, so it’s much more affordable.
@@rebeccamunn8673 I don't think I've ever paid full price for anything from IT Cosmetics. It sure works for us, Rebecca.
@@MaryEllenAfter60 may I ask where you see all these sales. I'm 50. Just getting back into makeup. I need new everything. My first purchase was the It CC illuminating cream. I have very dry skin. So now I need all the other steps and It cosmetics are pricey.
@@crisnemitz1606 Cris, I sign up for emails from IT Cosmetics, check prices on QVC, buy when reward points are high, or have a 20% off coupon from Ulta. I also use Rakuten (Ebates or Mr Rebates. I just love to get what I want at a great price. Hope this helps. MaryEllen
@@MaryEllenAfter60 Thank you so much for your reply. I'm fairly new to this channel, but it seems as though the comment section is very helpful and kind. Very refreshing!
I have seen the foundation at tj maxx for $20!!!
Omg thank you! I really want it but can't afford it! Im praying I find it haha!
Kelly Oliveira good luck!
Yes! I just bought it today!
Just noticed they now have the foundation at tj max online!
I’ve been on a big “no makeup” makeup look this spring. I just love getting that fresh faced look without heaviness.
Coffee, breakfast, and Emily on a Saturday morning. ❤️
You look stunning woman!!😍🙌🏽👍🏾🔥 your natural beauty is perfect for this kinda look
I’m so thankful I watched your tutorial before making this investment bc I feel that’s what it would be at least for me. I think I’ll definitely go with the Bobbi Brown corrector for my sun spots! Thanks again Em!
Oh, no! I convinced myself years ago that I didn't need these products and now I have to reevaluate after seeing how beautiful you look! I'm also very interested in that MAC mascara you showed but cannot seem to find it anywhere, I loved everything about this video, Em. XO.
If I’m going to spend that much for these products I am going to want more. If I want skin care care I will buy skin care. Those are my priorities.
It looks BEAUTIFUL! Positively love it. Looks so natural and so healthy.
Can recommend some face primers that work well with powder foundation? I like wearing powder foundation in warm weather. Thanks!!!
I received the foundation from Influenster to try in exchange for a review, but I haven’t used it yet because there hasn’t been a day where I’ve wanted that light of coverage, and I usually have long days so staying power is important to me. But I’m so glad you did this video so now I have a better feel of what I’m getting into.
Love this look on you! Simple yet flawless...this is exactly how I’d like to look on the weekends.
You look lovely. Thank you for giving us the full line !
