  • The City of Castle Pines is evolving. Since our incorporation in 2008, we have grown to the east, developed on the west and are seeing amazing growth in the south.
This momentum is attracting families, retailers and contributing to the economic vitality of our community. As we embrace this evolution, without losing our sense of community, we want to leverage new opportunities to develop our community into a place where current and future residents can live, work and play.
Prioritizing transportation projects and resident safety has played a large role in making this happen.
In the past 10 years, Castle Pines has invested over $28,000,000 in infrastructure and maintenance of its roadway systems.
In 2019 and 2020 alone, the City’s commitment to transportation allowed for the reconstruction, rehabilitation or surface treatment of 7 center line miles of roads, the intersection of Castle Pines Parkway and Monarch, safe sidewalks and crossings for pedestrians, traffic signals, an additional left turn lane from south bound Monarch to east bound Castle Pines Parkway, and much more.
All this without taking on any debt.
There is much more to be done, however, that cannot be done with existing resources.
