The staggering racism, ignorance and outright stupidity that is being taught in schools is disgusting.
It’s a script being drilled into kids’ heads. Makes me wonder if Obama wanted everyone in college instead of trades so they could become angry community organizers. Seventy percent of jobs are service industry. College tuition is about 200x what I paid forty years ago.
My in-laws were brought from the Philippines as children to work on a sugar plantation in Hawaii 100 years ago. Everyone of those three families went on to become millionaires. My mother in law graduated from Columbia University in the 1940s. They were not recruiting women of any shade in their accounting department. They made their own breaks.
My father grew up with four other kids in a shack with no indoor plumbing on a small farm in rural Oklahoma during the Great Depression. He had a high school diploma. He served in the Korean War and started from scratch. My mom was a teen mom. They had three kids by the time she was 23. I remember sleeping on a cot in the kitchen.
I’m the only one in my family to go to college. I paid my own way. Our family was poor in Scotland, and they were poor when they came here. We never had generational wealth. My last two bosses were black women attorneys. One of them - her father was a physician and her mother was a college professor. She got college admission privileges from affirmative action that weren’t open to me. I don’t care. We’re friends. But I’m not buying the generational trauma. That’s just creating more reasons to shove Marxism down our throats. Now we’ve got entitled illegals on to of that.

I was driving to the pharmacy today and saw a black woman who was trying to get her child across the street so her child could go to the park, this was during rush hour and I had lots of traffic behind me.
I held up traffic and waved 👋 to her that I would hold the traffic back so the kid could cross the street, simple courtesy right?
Anytime before the last five years the woman would have waved back and said thanks, instead she put her chin up and turned her back on me??
I'm a person who was taught to be courteous and grew up in a mixed culture so I respect all cultures.
I don't expect people to say thanks for my courtesy but at the same time don't believe I deserved to be treated like a white devil!!
These small incidents that happen now, I have never experienced in the past and definitely not the 90s.
I literally feel like I'm hated when I go grocery shopping around black humans 😕
I came from a single mother poor family and suffered myself, I have never experienced "White privilege"
I also fought with skin heads during the 90s and was a supporter of the ARA/Anti, Racist, Action!!
Black people have been judged for a long time and understand how that feels inside so why would I be judged by the color of my skin?
Just because stupid people existed in the old day's, why must I pay for their crimes?
I will not let myself get angry at that black woman but will instead pray for her!!
She also doesn't know that my 17 year old daughter killed herself and I found her hanging in my basement!!

Well ironically DEI is actual systemic racism all these leftists are crying about.
I grew up as an Air Force brat and my family may not have been millionaires but I’m here to tell you that I have had a damn good life solidly in the middle class! And my dad grew up in a rural farming family who were dirt poor! Some parts of their home literally had a dirt floor. His mom gave birth to all 4 of her children at home on the kitchen floor because they couldn’t afford to travel to a hospital or pay for it! And my dad was the very first person in my entire lineage who graduated from high school. So I don’t want to hear about how we have this mythical privilege! I had an easier life because my dad made the decision to voluntarily join the military during the Vietnam war and he stayed in for 23 years before retiring and he then started another career and worked his butt off to retire from there too!
I’m encouraged to see intelligent people of color standing up and being real and truthful these days. Truth is, we need smart, trained people who want to succeeed, and color is less likely to be a qualifier than competency.

I’m not sure. It seems she feels the need to have a power moment. She will be more successful if, she is supportive of all Americans and veterans. Most logical people don’t blame their perceived failures onto others or historical events onto others who weren’t there. Most don’t feel the need to stand on a soap box to proclaim their self determined injustice. We all have success and failures and then we move on. I don’t think she would want to even acknowledge privileges she has that others don’t.
