SCIENCE EXHIBITION ON THE OCASSION OF NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY (2022)

National Science Day is observed for the 28 February to commemorate the discovery of the 'Raman Effect'. In 1986, the Government of India designated 28 February as National Science Day (NSD). On this Day, Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman, also known as CV Raman announced the discovery of the 'Raman Effect' for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1930.
National Science Day was observed with enthusiasm for the very first time at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Adarsha Mahavidyalaya (PDUAM), Tulungia on 28th February 2022. On this special occasion, a scientific model exhibition cum competition was organized to provide a platform for various budding scientific ideas among students from various nearby schools and colleges of Bongaigaon district. The Exhibition was organized with a noble objective of increasing scientific awareness among the general masses as well as to nurture the innovative concepts within various budding young minds of the district.
