Ok....Advice for this century and in comprehensible words ONLY PLEASE!!!....I believe in God and the bible. It's a nice primary base for regulation in ones personal life and some of it is even unrealistically romantic which is heartwarming and endearing...However...people take any RANDOM bible passage and use it to pave people problems instead of ACTUALLY using the power of the BRAIN and analytical skills to FIND a solution.

I have always been a straight A student... Our grading system in my country is at 10 ... I always got between 9.9-9. I work now at corporate finance and have done amazing internships in my college life. I am not trying to boast here but It's just wrong that people think if you gotta have education that's the only thing you need to focus on. I dated people, had friends, had fun, hosted events, missed out nothing... Most of my fellow mates who were amazing at studies and got good grades were actually all rounders and now have amazing life... Those peers who only focused on grades and ignored everyone and everything else are unhappy in life now...

I've lived with mother up until the age of 28yrs old and I've been on dates where females would say to me "I can't believe you live with your mom, I couldn't see myself with a guy who's a momma's boy".
The fact was i wasn't a momma's boy, living with mother didn't made me less of a man.
Living with my mother was great because I was able to 70% of my wages which put me in a great position now.
Woman need to be smart; if a guy said he lives with his mother and he also work, then look at the situation in a positive way.
You're right. I love that you said you were saving. Once you are/were making plans to leave your mom's house and was financially able to support yourself I don't see the issue.

I graduated b.s. engineering in 2010 mine are $300. But I'm a divorcee out of a 3 yr marriage now I pay out $3200 a month alimony & child support & I'm barely making it.
So there are a lot of reasons people are out here shining & popping bottles. My step son is about to need braces that's another $3000.

I agree 100% that was too vague in her description of what she wants in a man. I do tough think Steve missed something important - it sounds like she is doing something in between when the guys ask her out and when the date is supposed to happen. She’s probably doing something that is turning them off to her.

Probably right. Not sure but might be a vgn. Nothing wrong with that but add that to naivete and her awkwardness about relationships and guys in general, it's a turn off and guys can smell that a mile away. You can tell she has the wrong perception of men and she has no clue of who she is socially and in a relationship, therefore has no clue of what she wants for herself specifically. She's on the right track in her journey of dating, problem is she's starting waaay to late and she's just learning for the first time about men in general. Hopefully she finds a guy that's starting the journey as well that will be a good fit for her and not fall into the wrong hands.

Nothing to do with starting late. I started late too. I have gone out with people who have supposedly been in multiple relationships and they still dunno.how to communicate or have the decency to be kind and honest. What the hell is dating anyway? 2 people sitting down and having a chat and laughs and seeing where things go. I have friends who didnt have boyfriends before they got married. Their husbands were their first. So what?

She seems socially awkward. Why would she not date over the past 10 years? Cat expect marriage when she knows nothing about relationships. I can see why you'd think that, but I'm in the same boat as that woman. I never saw "dating casually" as a normality. At least not for me. Over the years I've learned from others mistakes. I will make my own mistakes, for sure, but when I decide on something (or someone), I put my whole self out there. Why do I have to taste everything in the buffet in order to choose what I already knew would satisfy me?

So what if she started dating later..later could mean in her early 20s..she probably meant in a more serious way because ahe was no longer living at home or campus so more freedom and etc..unfortunately the quality of men is much lower now that she is putting MORE effort into finding a mate..I think she did it right.
