I’m making this now but the flowery bits aren’t looking like yours. I’ve done the same amount of stitches, same size hook. But there are places where the flowery bits aren’t even on the whole row. Some only half way across. Did you snip the yarn at all so as it was more even with the flowers?

Do you start the yarn from the middle? I started from the outside and the coloured parts are all at one side of the blanket with a plain pink block at the other side. It doesn't look as pretty as yours. I bought the same yarn as you suggested. Update: I pulled it out and started again from the middle of the ball and got the same lovely effect as demonstrated. Such a lovely blanket 😍 I finally received my yarn all the way to New Zealand from Snufflebean (during the Covid-19 debacle) and have started to crochet, but with the first ball of yarn I'm finding that all the 'flowers' are ending up at one side of the blanket. Not sure why this should happen, I see yours seem to be fairly evenly spaced across the width. Any idea why this would happen? Thanks 😊
