I'll also propose, or ask, this to you. Look at Trump's actual policy plan. The one on his website. The one that has a 20 point outline and then downloadable PDF that goes into detail. What part of that policy plan is agenda aligned with the now thrice dismissed Project 2025? I say thrice because Trump verbally said he wasn't following it. He gave a policy plan (the one on his website) that wasn't it. Then his camp came out & rebuked the leader of the think tank that created Project 2025, this was after that person was fired btw.
For those parts that do align with Project 2025, like smaller Government, why do you think that is a bad point? As such things can also fall under a broken click being correct twice a day. By the by, for full disclosure, I do not like Project 2025. It relies too heavily on religion & moral rightness for morals sake. But I can agree that some aspects may be right. The same way that one of Kamala's few policies outlined has been a policy that Trump rolled out first.
If that second part is too much, I'll still just gladly read over Kamala's policy plan. But again, where can I find it?

That's how speaking at my local government meetings works. Digital countdown timers visible to all showing minutes and seconds remaining, with a green/yellow/red 'traffic light.' Green indicating clock is running, yellow coming on around the 30 seconds remaining mark, red comes on to indicate speaker is running into overtime. At these local meetings, they don't cut the guest mic automatically on time, but anyone who runs into overtime is told to either wrap it up, or given permission to continue, depending upon circumstances.
Two things: live mikes, and have debate moderators with some balls.

That's the game plan, that's what I would had done in those circumstances. Leave all doors open. And yes, Trump may also speak out of turns, which would make Harris appeared the more disciplined if interruption from her is not needed.

I disagree. Let Trump spend his allotted mic on time however he wants. Do fact checking up to a minute or two between speakers. If more extensive fact checking is called for, then just throw down some sort of marker ("Folks, that was a lie. We will elaborate after the candidates are both finished speaking."[1]), then do the longer form fact checking after the debate.
Why bother. Every thing he says is a lie. It’s a given.
