You are a natural at this stuff!! Great job J! We are also on a similar silly humour 'wave' length - as she 'glazes' over- never too 'posh' for silliness- thought I'd L'ange right in to this...ok... so getting desperate with play on words!! :)))))
Love your video. But, with all of the products listed, could you please tell me how you use all of them, i.e., after shampooing what do you use first, second, etc. I've never used so many products as listed in my hair so if I'm going to try this I need to know. Help!!
Hi there. I'm new to your channel but so glad I found it. I used to work in a hairdressers and had a mane of long, down to my butt, curly hair. Then I went and got sick and many years later I've got very fine hair that is also rather thin. It's in superb condition, just little of it. I've been tested for alopecia etc and its come back as female pattern baldness. Well isn't that just fabulous! Anyway I'm thinking of cutting my seriously lackluster hair. Its past my shoulders, no colour whatsoever. I'm thinking of a long blunt bob styled with beach waves for texture and going from a medium brown to toffee roots and vanilla/honey ends & highlights. Fingers crossed it will work out. Although I wont know for at least 3 months, before I can leave the house to see a hairdresser, as the UK government has put us in lockdown here. Stay safe everyone!
Hey love! This is an older video of mine and I use different products now. You can check those out on my hair care blog here You can also check out my current hair care blog on products I use and love: fitmissionmakeup.com/jocelyns-current-haircare/
LOVE YOUR BEACH WAVES!!!! I Just found you and and am now a subscriber, however, I have your similar length hair, medium fine, with some layering but my problem is getting root volume. My hair is always root heavy. I purchased the LeDuo but it's not working for me the way yours is!! What tool/products would you suggest?
Yeah! I would for sure take the hair quiz on L'ange's site. You can enter in your hair type and hair goals. They suggest a variety of products and tools for you to consider. Let me know what you think! XO!

Hi Jocelyn great hair tutorial, I've been going back on some of your vids to check out some hair looks and the hit tools you use as I'm looking for some new ones ,I'm wrapped because I've just found out I can get L'ange hair products here in Australia so I'm thinking about their hot tools too, 😆your sweat comment cracked me up but now I've cut my hair short I've found your so right after the gym wet hair really is like having a built in salt spray😆😆 take care hun all the best Mary in Australia🌻
Is your hair fine or thick? I LOVE your haircut and I'm not far from mine looking like yours but I don't want to go for a hairstyle that is more for think hair and then be disappointed. Thanks!
@@jocelynmcclellan I've been growing my hair out since August, and I probably have like 2" to go until it is your length. I've been using the Le Duo, but I still can't fully achieve the look like you can. I think that wand might be the better tool. I don't know, but I'm not giving up yet!!!
Jocelyn……my hair is the same length as yours…..but my hair is so fine and thin - and one solid blonde shade. Could I do this style? Your hair is so beautiful and thick - and your colours are gorgeous. Teddy UK xx
Hi! I'm new to your videos and ADORE them already. I just chopped my hair and am desperate to find ways to style it. So excited I already have the L'Ange Le Cinque to try some fun beach waves. My question is, how do you sleep with your short hair to extend the style for 3 days? My hair is a DISASTER in the morning! Any tips and tricks for that would be amazing! Thanks, cutie!
Thank you so MUCH, you're a gem! Short hair is seriously so fun to style and have fun with! I do sleep with a silk pillow case which helps reduce frizz and craziness in the morning. I did find when it was shorter than this it did get pretty cray cray in the mornings. I do have to fix it up a bit and curl the pieces that I need to but I find that using my three products on the first day really helps the style last and then I only use what product I need to on the other days. :)
Hey gorgeous! I used Stay Golden, Amethyst, Mi Hija, Highlight, and Tawanda from Seint! You can find those here - fitmissionmakeup.seintofficial.com/en
Jocelyn, hello! Love your style and videos! Question, I am in the process of letting my color grow out and letting Mother Nature's work show with the grays. Do you have any videos of do's and dont's with with styling grays and products as well? Thanks!
Love, love, love this video. Just got my hair cut short, like this. I needed this video so much!!! You're makeup is amaaaaaazing too, btw! Do you do tutorials on that as well?
You just made my day, thank you! Indeed I do! I also go live over on my Facebook page with hair and makeup as well if you ever wanna join me! ❤ facebook.com/fitmissionmakeup/

Great tutorial thank you. I have naturally waves hair and in a bob. Mines quite thick hair and with mid length layers at the moment but growing out. My hair is the same length all round where yours is shorter at the back so i think i will continue growing the layers out then get it shorter at the back. I really like the style of your hair, I feel lost at the moment as to what style to have that suits my waves hair and thats stylish. If my hair is not right...I don’t feel right! I have subscribed to you as i love all things hair/make up etc and you seem really up to speed, enthusiastic and really a nice genuine person. Love the bit about drying off a sweaty scalp but its true lol 😂 Thank you for taking time out to share and i look forward to seeing your next tutorial 🙋♀️🇬🇧👏🏻
Oh my goodness girlfriend, you are just the cutest ever!! You are so welcome, thank you for watching and subscribing. So happy to have you around here. Haha always honest around here, let me know if you need anything from me. ❤️❤️
Oh my gosh we have the exact same hair cut! I LOVE it! You are darling and so fun to watch! I have one question, which of the four products do you use to keep the curl in? I have very fine hair. My curls will fall out in a matter of minutes. I use a dry shampoo, and hairspray already. Thank you for another great, fun video!
Isn't it so fun!? Love the short hair. Thank you! The Salt and Sea & Whip Mousse are what help hold my curls/ volume, but I use it along with the Glaze which hydrates my hair and is a UV/ thermal protectant. Together they are my secret sauce, but I did have to mess with the amounts. What is your specific hair type? I can give you some product recommendations for your specific hair 🌟
Thank you for writing back Jocelyn! Thank you for the information. To answer your question, my hair is super fine, like baby hair, lol. I do have a lot of hair, thank goodness! My mousse goes on right after I wash my hair then I use dry shampoo as soon as my hair is dry. Other than that I use hair spray to set my hair after curling. Ta daa, that’s all I do. My hair will stay a little wavy but the curl is pretty much gone within an hour. I’d appreciate any ideas you have. Have a blessed day Jocelyn!
Hey this just popped up. Glad I watched it. I'm scared I'm using to much stuff but I dont wanna mess my hair up. I have a nume it is black. I cant control the temperature. I have fine, straight hair. Colored blonde also. I just got it cut almost to my shoulder's.... may get some more cut...
I just recently cut my hair short and I'm LOVING your videos. You have so many great techniques. Thank you! I also love your taste in music and have been trying to find the song in this video, but no luck. Could you please share who the artist is and name of the song?
Thank you so much for your kind words, I am so happy to hear that you are enjoying my videos! ❤ I am so sorry, these are bought songs that I have to put on my videos because I can't use copyrighted music so this is just a past song that was purchased.
To be honest I’ve never used anything other than shampoo, conditioner, some spray heat protectant (recent acquirement) and from time to time a hair repair treatment (after I dyed it) .. but I really want to get that sea salt and dry shampoo on.. my hair is super oily so I don’t want to add too much in there... can’t find the brands you recommended here in HN tho 😭😭 any other options you could recommend for oily hair? I have to wash my damn hair every single day so I’m trying to get some product in there to help with that... thanks so much in advance, you’re awesome!! 💚
I have a lange straighter and love it; I’ve yet to invest in any hair products but watching you makes me want to! I have your same hairstyle however I have a TON of fine hair and it is naturally a funky wave too so is it better to straighten it all first and then curl it?
I have a ton of medium hair as well! I wouldn't recommend fully straightening if you can get away with it - if there are some pieces that really need it do a low heat straighten (:
This was really helpful but I am confused about the products you used. You list four products, but do not seem to use them all. Which was the second product used? How would you use the others? Thanks!
Hey girl! Glad it helped, so sorry for the confusion. I use the 3 before I blow dried my hair, which is why you did not see it happen on camera. I use the Glaze hair lotion, Whip Mousse and Salt and Sea spray all on wet hair then I blow dry. These give me the best volume and stay power. I have a lot of medium fine hair. I also use The Posh which can be applied on wet hair or dry, but I personally love to apply it to each strand before curling for definition.
I'm new to your channel and I have loved the videos I have seen so far! So helpful and fun. I was wondering if you might know when L'ange will have their hair dryers back in stock? Or will that probably not happen? Thank you for putting out wonderful content
Well welcome sista and thanks for the love!! You can sign up to receive emails as soon as the items come back in stock on the website. I am not sure of an exact restock date, sorry I cannot be of more help. ❤️
I literally just found your channel, I love it. Please help me I just chopped my hair to a Lob and I have very fine hair super straight hair, what products are going to keep the hold because nothing seems to work. I have the ghd curve wand. 😭
I use Maskcara Beauty, I'm actually and Independent Artist with them! If you are interested I can help you get your colors picked out, email me at jocelyn@fitmissionmakeup.com xo
So for my hair length and how much hair I have, I use a dime size amount of the Glaze, and sorbet (but this totally depends on the health of my hair at the time. If my hair is very hydrated already I don’t use the glaze. If my hair needs a little more hydration, I use both of those) I add Virtue 6 in 1 creme from Virtue for heat protection and I also add around 5 sprays or so of sea salt spray only on roots and midshaft. You can check out the L'ange products here: t.langehair.com/SHDG3 & and Virtue cream here: rstyle.me/+vJMEuxq7JxkrbVpZt-Txng
This is what works best for me, I have product in my hair already so I don't need to add more - It gives me the best stay power. If you would like some product recommendations I would be more than happy to help you out! (:
Hey love! For beginners, I would definitely recommend using a heat resistant glove! Also, try to not wrap clear to the ends so your fingers don't have to go right next to the wand! 💕
You are an amazingly beautiful woman who has taught this 60 year old Grandma that it is never too late to learn to look good❤️

I only wish I had that much hair to work with now after going through Menopause. :)
Hair is always changing isn't it!
I feel like you need to wrap a bit further to assure the ends aren’t straight
You could totally do that, too for a different fun look!
What temperature is the wand set at?
I keep mine at 390 typically! I have a lot of medium fine hair- if you have fine hair start low and work your way up
@@jocelynmcclellan Thank you so much! Just found you and so glad I did! :)
Not wash one's hair for 3 days? Dry Shampoo? What happened to hair spray? and wand? I still have one of those clamp barrel curling irons!
This is what works best for me, I have product in my hair already so I don't need to add more - It gives me the best stay power. If you would like some product recommendations I would be more than happy to help you out! (:
What is the temperature of the wand?
390 to 410 (:
I feel like I’m watching a Lange commercial. I love them, my Momma will buy all the products and somehow ends up with two which she gives to me.
Isn't L'ange so awesome??
I want your hair cut but my hair is so curly.
Hey gorgeous! Curly hair is so fun and awesome!❤️
You are adorable. Do you ever burn your fingers?
Hey girl! I've practiced enough that I don't burn my fingers now. L'ange wands come with a glove that is so helpful for beginners!❤️
You didn't tell us the name of the products you used.
as someone who has really short hair, i consider your hair long😄
Am i the only one that thinks she looks like scarlett johansson?
I thought that too, but prettier. Luckeeee!
I just sent an email about your hair color!
Ok....I burn my fingers with that iron on the back!! What’s the secret?? 💥
Hey love! For beginners, I would definitely recommend using a heat resistant glove! Also, try to not wrap clear to the ends so your fingers don't have to go right next to the wand! 💕
