Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I used my Duo for the first time today and I *hated* it. I am used to a traditional curling iron from the early 2000's!!! I knew I was probably not doing the right technique. I am very appreciative for the tips! I am hoping if I use hairspray that it will last at least 2 nights :)
SAAAAME!! I looked forward to getting it and was excited to use it and was so discouraged after. I turned it off and used my beachwaver. Lol I tried again today and actually managed to get some curl this time! 😅 Watching all the videos(again) and am going to try my daughters hair and see how I do. It doesn't seem to want to just glide in mine...
Same. Used for first time yesterday and nope. Also used to regular curling iron. Watching more videos for tips. Really want to love the Le duo. I got this!
For those just finding this video and having issues. Her hair is short and on the thinner side so her instructions are on point for that hair type. If you have hair longer than shoulder length and/or thicker, you may want to watch some other videos as using this tool isn't quite the same, especially the curling part (last style). If you need more than 4 sections on the bottom layer... find a better video for your hair type.
Thanks, I’ve had this tool for a while but I needed a tutorial to learn how to curl my hair. I tried a couple of times but my hair was snagging in the tool. Going to try again.
Love the tutorial! First of all, I came into this knowing that my hair does not look like your hair in the morning when you get out of bed-- even before you use the L'ange styler. 😉 But considering that I've never been successful with any curling iron, for my naturally fine straight hair, wow, it's actually curling! To make my hair not snag in the styler, I learned from your video that you pull the hair away from the head so the hair is rather taut, then you pull the styler down and release the curl. ❤
My hair was getting snagged when i pulled it through (my hair is opposite of oily) so i started using a very good brush with each sexton section prior. Because the brush smoothed out the frizziness the tool glided right through.
I have very dry hair and with this tool I can get away with washing it only once a week - I've even gone longer. It looks better as the days go by. I'm trying to get it looser from day one so I'm experimenting with lowering the heat (I used to use it at the highest) and not twisting it as much.
Yeah, I sometimes change the temperature while I'm using it. Lol, now I start it on a lower setting because I know that I will push it once while using it.
Those are auto generated - you have to keep looking 100s with same issue. Ask your hairdresser they all agree it pulls/snags hair. At end of the day - it is your hair not mine.
Works good for me so far , it takes some practice and be patience. I got it because my friend had one a I used hers and I like the fan and quality everything
This seems to be the style and is purposeful. I'm not a fan of it as it's that old school look of those who didn't know how to use a curling iron and left the ends looking frizzy and fried.
The beachy wave part is so helpful as someone who just got this tool

Thanks for posting this! It was really helpful! :)
newbie to the channel... you're giving me Cindy Crawford vibes.... seriously
I was on the fence buy buying today, so thanks! But the "smaller one"? 😢
Thank you for the demonstrations
What a great tutorial!!! Way better than the tutorial videos on the company’s website! They should hire you! You’re a great instructor 🙏😊

This is so helpful thank you so much x

I appreciate this, thanks!
I just got this and my first few tries I couldn’t get the curl. But after watching your video I figured it out. So thank you!!
How to know what temperature to set it at ? Thanks
Thanks, that was helpful!
Very beautiful.
Did you use the Standard or Grande length?
I have the grande as it is for long hair. Hers seems to be the regular barrel.
Do you use different temperature for the different styles?
@@ChangeisGoodwithPam I typically just keep it at the second to highest setting for everything.
Thank you!
Thanks for posting this :) what’s your temperature setting?
I use the second to hottest setting most of the time. Sorry I don't have it with me right now to 100% tell you the number. 390 maybe?
@@ashleybeautithanks so much for answering and really appreciate the video. :) all the best!
I purchased this a couple of months ago and I have never used it yet. You make me want to definitely pull it out and try it.
Are you using the smaller or larger tool??
I have the smaller one. 😊
I was just ready to purchase the larger 😢
I keep turning it off while using it! So annoying. Any tips? Thanks!

So do you still love it?
I hate it it does not work now i see why it was on final sale with no returns
I’m returning this crap product l I’ll stick with the one I got from Hairatage
Ruined my hair! Buyer beware read the reviews - snags hair and breakage.
I have read reviews and they were awesome reviews

Snags my hair every single time I try to use it. I have tried over & over with this tool. My hair pulls & snags every single time. So disappointed

You left stick straight ends, not a true curly hairstyle
You're supposed to leave the ends straight for the beachy wave hair style.
This seems to be the style and is purposeful. I'm not a fan of it as it's that old school look of those who didn't know how to use a curling iron and left the ends looking frizzy and fried.
Too much talking
I tried and it looks nothing like yours 🥲
