      @@PhilPendlebury D Atmos is a little scary for me as I'm new(ish) to Nuendo. But it was a fascinating insight (as always!).

      Thanks Adam, I hope it helps. There are some shoddy parts in this one for sure, when you make a mistake and it's live there's no going back... Haha. Any help needed drop me a line, I think you have my email. 🙂

    Hey Phil ! What's that sofware you're using @ 22:31 ? It's like a windows file explorer ?

      It's a game changer to be honest. Could not be without it.

    Thanks for the info Phil. I'm mastering a documentary in 5.1 for the first time and I'm ok with R128 LUFS recomendation levels about -23dB LUFS. My question is how to export this mastered 5.1 channels into Dolby atmos encoding? it can be done only using Nuendo 12 tools? Thanks for the support.

    • @PhilPendlebury
      @PhilPendlebury  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the message. You can export ADM file but the encoding must be done externally. I am planning a follow up on this.

    Would this work with the dolby atmos features in Cubase Pro 13? Thanks 😊

      Yes. There’s some small differences but it’s pretty much the same.

    thanks, one question, am i limited with objects ? coz i have a project with more than 200 tracks that i want to convert to 7.1 and from what i saw the renderer is limited to 128 objects

    • @PhilPendlebury
      @PhilPendlebury  Год назад +1

      Dolby Atmos itself natively supports up to 128 Objects, (10 of which will usually be your Bed.) This is not a limitation of Nuendo but of the Atmos framework itself. So, if you have more tracks than that, you can sum them together before sending them as objects to the renderer channel, or route them to the bed. 🙂

    • @angelite6027
      @angelite6027 Год назад +1

      @@PhilPendlebury yes i figured thats the case. grouped the tracks and made a bed out of the group track. thank you

    • @PhilPendlebury
      @PhilPendlebury  Год назад +1

      @@angelite6027 I actually tend to make groups for similar items and then make an object for that group. I'll be covering this in the livestream coming up on Monday 28th. 🙂

    I have question about vst multipanner. When Atmos standard bed 1.7.2 track is routed to 7.1.4 Atmos bus Renderer we can see rear view. Why only 2 speakers are shown and called front top left and front top right? Why not 4 speakers and additionally the position is wrong in space/room. It should be in front not in rear. It not real accurate visualization. In
