- The second leg of our journey down the Baja California Peninsula, My wife Yois and I discover a new favorite thing to do. Kayaking! We found amazing spots to camp, meet wonderful people and eat delicious meals while camping in beautiful sandy beaches on the gulf of California.

Plata el coyote is by far the best beach in Bahia Concepcion, there’s an island on Catalina distance that you can paddle to and it’s really nice. You should check it out on your next trip

Yes 100% ! of course common sense is definitely a plus! I don’t drive at night, I do not explore unknown trails by my self and I ask a lot of questions to locals
I am loving this, was supposed to be down there right now. Health issue came up, but this is helping me stay sane. Bought your cookbook by the way, great recipes! Looking forward to out next rip there, meanwhile will keep an eye out for your next adventure.

Baja is just amazing, the drive at minute 6:36 when the road opens to Bahia Concecpcion is just breathtaking, right now i am about to finish my postgraduate deegree so no traveling until late summer but once i am done, ill drive straight down and spend a week or a week and a half just chilling in some surf spot or somewhere in the golf doing nothing but enjoying the view with a few cold beers, thats actually my motivation to finish school. Nice videos, nice setup and even nicer food, keep coming back to Beautiful baja Mexico

Looks great Marco! Requeson is a perfect place to be if not too crowded and you got awesome weather. We had a day like that there, or at least half a day, in the afternoon the wind came up and it was 3-4 foot seas! Love that first campsite you found as well and the salsa looks amazing.

Hello Marco. Great video, amazing Baja as we know it! So, I notice you have a Dometic fridge; I just bought a 20 quarter different brand though and it states that you can leave it plugged in over night on “High mode” onto your vehicle and it won’t drain the battery; any comments on that?
Thank you! Honestly I’m not familiar with Dometic! That particular fridge belongs to my daughter, it’s about 8 years old! I don’t know if it has that feature

Pretty simple! I do recommend getting Baja auto insurance. Baja is "Zona Libre" so you don't need any special permits for the vehicle.

Awww what a relaxing time to see this video right now. We just had a hailstorm come thru here in La Habra CA. Thank you, Marco, for this wonderful video you capture the essence of my ancestor's land. My grandparents were born in Guadalajara, Mexico left their rancho during the revolution and migrated to So CA and never went back to their ranch. They were advised to stay in CA or they would be killed if they tried to reclaim their ranch in Jalostotitlán so the story goes. I know you are far from there and maybe they traveled there some time????
