RAMA and Lakshmana were taking teaching from Vishvamitra, one day he took them to a marriage ceremony where Sita was choosing her life partner, it was unexpected they were not invited, but faith lead them to there. After that Nobody were able to pull that Bow, then King Janak ask everyone that "In this world no one is left who can pull this bow and marry my daughter" then Vishvamitra introducted Rama saying he will do it, he is elder son of King Dashrath, so janak allowed him. Ram pulled it like it is nothing, then put string on it, and pull the string, and it broke. Seeing this Kind Janak off offer not only Sita’s Marriage, but her other 3 daughters’ marriage with Rama’s brother as well. There are lot more thing happening in between but that will go way above your head.
Now Kind Dashrath’s Curse will come in picture, His wife Kaikeyi asked him to fulfil her 2 wishies 1. Her son Bharata his successor to the throne of Ayodhya, 2. Ask RAMA to be live in forest for 14 years, Dashrath had no other option to do that, because Once Kaikeyi save King Dashrath's life two times in battlefield, so King Dashrath give her opportunities that whenever she needs, she can ask any two things and he will not deny it (It is all about fait).

Rama couldn't kill Bali in Face to Face Battle so he has to kill Bali by taking a peak without knowing him, otherwise Bali will Rama as well by taking his half Powers.
when Bali was Dying, he already heard of Rama, so he asked you are a wise and a great man so why you are killing me, from behind, even i am not your eenmy.
Rama replied, 1st if I will fight with you in front then my winning is impossible 2nd you are doing wrong thing by capturing your younger brothers wife, 3rd I can't see wrong thing happening, 4th Sugreev is my friend so his problem is my problem and i have to help him.
Then RAM declare Sugreev as New king, Then Sugreev sent his army to all direction to search for Sita, at the time Hanumaan was also in the picture, but he has lost his power due to some curse also, but he was been awarded with mistic powers as well, and also awarded that whenever we will make him realize how powerful he was then he will regain all his powers.
Now another answer if RAMA was God why he can't kill Ravana's easily. This is because Ravana was blessed by Brahma with a boon that made him invincible to all of Brahma's creations, except for humans. However, Lord Vishnu gave blessings that he would incarnate as a human (Rama) and kill Ravana because his invincibility boon did not include humans
Just google Lord Vishnu Curse to Ravana you will get story why Ravana has to be kill only by Rama.
Also if Hanumaan like to end this battle then no one would be able to stop him, and Sita would have been return back to RAMA in a single day, then this entire Ramayana would be a very different story. but it wall was decided before birth of RAMA and Ravana that's why all things happen.

One most appropriate story is, and that is logical is that:
Ravana’s has Knowledge of Sanatan’s 4 Prime Holy book, and 6 Fighting skills that’s why he was called Dashanan, which almost fits, Ravana’s doesn’t have 10 heads in real, it is all depicted by name of Dashana mean 10 Headed.

Asura is a Category of people those are not bad, but having special powers, but some are very bad Like Ravana, due to their work. Also Ravana was not only Asura, he was also part of Saint Family. The Problem is that, if same story in a positive manner will be narrated to you by Some Hindu, then you will not believe it,
However if a Muslim guy will tell you some nonsense on Ramayana or about Mahabharata then you will believe it.
This is the problem, there is lot more Sanskrit Involved in it. Which was on period of times interpreted differently. Due to that there is lot of confusion, but instead of coming to conclusion person should ask someone till the time not getting satisfactory answers. This epic being before the birth or RAM Shravana Kumara's parents, Shantanu and Gyanvanti (Malaya), were hermits. They were both blind. When they became aged, Shravana wanted to take them to the four most sacred places of Hindu pilgrimage to purify the soul. Since Shravana Kumara could not afford the transport, he decided to put each parent in a basket and tie each basket to an end of a bamboo pole, which he would carry on his shoulder while on their pilgrimage.
One day Shravana Kumara, stop near the lake to have some water, at the same time, King Dashrath was doing hunting of deer, King Dashrath heard sound of water thinking deer drinking water so he shot an arrow to that direction, suddenly he heard sound of some person screaming, he went there and found that Arrow hit Shravana Kumara, he grabbed him but it was too late to save him, Shravana Kumara told King Dashrath about his parents and died on the spot.
Then Dashrath went to Shravana Kumara’s parents and told them what happen, they got shocked, and due to that both died, but before dying they CURSED king Dashrath that You will die same way like we are dying on losing our son.
Now Dashrath married three women, and had 4 sons following are detail:
Lakshmana and Shatrughna were born to Sumitra,
RAMA was born to Kausalya,
Bharata were born to Kaikeyi

@@unchained79 as the Brahm is in the form of a Jeev Atma (Individual Soul). He lives by its rule. The ramayana is for the Liberation of Its people specially Ravana . Sita was there so that Ravana could realize that he can attain Liberation with wealth but with knowledge and devotion . He was the biggest devotee of Shiva(the ultimate reality) but got Deluded and lost his way . So as an act of live God (Ultimate reality) showed up for his Liberation and his Liberation was in death ,because he was that Deluded.
And even Gods have to face consequences when they are in a form.
