This Hindu festival is a unique celebration among Singapore’s events, considered a sacred occasion, and we find very interesting! Let’s say “thank you for your hard work” to you who moved the video camera to the place where the decorative altar Kavadi carried by Hindus is dismantled!👏😄 00:15 Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple It’s a start in the light rain! 02:22 Carrying the Kavadi It’s heavy,so it’s difficult to balance. 06:44 Serangoon Road 07:26 Farrer Park Mrt Entrance/ Exit H 16:51 Desker Road 18:38 Rowell Road 21:59 Hindoo Road This is footage of the course. 26:48 Chapati This is delicious. Did you try it?! 37:57 Food and water point Families and friend, and spectators who come to support also accompany, as well as those who come to watch, enjoy a little meal and drinks! 01:11:02 Kavadi dance It’s said to be a 4-kilometer walk, but in any case, it requires a lot of energy. And it seems they use unique Indian drums for a sacred dance, doesn’t it?! 01:19:35 Pongal-sweet rice What does the sweet rice taste like? 01:36:30 Sri Thandayuthapani Temple 01:38:48 Queue to enter the temple This is the headquarters of the devotees. Despite the crowd, the video camera managed enter beautifully!! 01:40:38 Inside the temple This is precious video footage inside the sacred temple! 01:42:17 Pouring milk on the sacred Vel 01:42:50 Receiving the sacred ash from the temple These are all important rituals. 01:44:46 Kavadi dismantling area This is also an important final ritual, isn’t it?! You walked for a long time and continued to shoot video. Good job! We also shared it very much.👌 Yosh and Iku
This is my 2nd year covering the Thaipusam festival, and it rained in both times! It was very interesting to see the festival, because it was not just about the devotees, but it was also about the whole community coming together to celebrate. I also appreciate that they allowed the general public to walk alongside the procession. Thank you and your wife for your support as always!
@@VicariousWalker It was sacred event for the Tamil community as well, with a very good atmosphere. We think your understanding and warm perspective also came through.✨ In the rain, you were able to capture valuable video footage. Yosh and Iku
