Bringing back Maul would be a big mistake. It would deem the very last impactful fight between Kenobi and Maul pointless. Even if it was a clone Maul or something. Sometimes I wonder what theory is thinking.
I think ventresss woulda been better instead of infected Morgan both wield dual blade and ventress always called Ahsoka terrible nicknames
@@hcokidhAsajj Ventress could be ressurected as zombie Nightsister like in The Clone Wars and Fallen Order we had seen examples. Ventress's dead body is buried on Dathomire where our Thrawn and Great Mothers are right now.

Theory has no regard for the current canon that Dave is literally SPELLING out! Thrawn says even I have fallen victim to the work of a single jedi and he immediately says Luke Skywalker baby😂 He is 100% completely obviously talking about Ezra. You know THE WHOLE FUCKING REASON HE IS HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Jesus Christ bro😂
Hard to believe he really watched rebels
@@iam_FLAME 💯
He wasnt actually being serious bro 😭😭
Ngl, when I first heard Thrawn say this I thought he said "Even the Empire fell to the heroics of a single Jedi", which made me think of Luke immediately too but it also made me confused because Thrawn definitely wouldn't have known of this knowledge because he was not around during the Battle of Endor, unless Morgan told him upon her arrival or the Nightsisters told him years ago after using their magic to peer across space and time.
When I re-watched it, I realized what he actually said and that he was obviously referring to Ezra thwarting his plans. Its entirely possible Theory might have misheard him like I did.
Yeah he never watched rebels
Theory completely ruined the finale FOR HIMSELF with his ridiculously high expectations and theories. Season 1 was about getting to Thrawn and Ezra, and building on Ashoka and Sabines relationship. Season 2 will explore the repercussions of Thrawn’s return and also Baylan and the Mortis Gods storyline they teased.
I enjoyed it tbh. Theory is losing credibility
Show sucks
ngl, the ending wasn't bad but it didn't really stick the landing for me. I think from the moment they start fighting the undead it kinda feels like everything is going too well, you know. I don't care that much about sabine being able to use the force but pushing Ezra was waaaay too much, like you just used the force for the first time and were barely able to pull the lightsaber, maybe Ashoka should've pushed him. the Way they were running away from the troopers was also weird, they could've just split the troopers in half, I mean it's a lightsaber after all. The way the ship was fixed was too fast and too convenient, Ashoka didn't have to have that convo with thrawn. Also I didn't expect any maul or anything but I feel like the witches could've pulled something stronger maybe 2 or 3 of the dead sisters or a zabrak or something, maybe one of those wolves but on magic. But the study with bylaw and the mortis gods pulled it all back for me. I also feel like the ending suffered a bit from episode 7, where they could've made advances to try to stop thrown and so the finale would've been better paced. Overall I think the finale was a solid 6.5 and the season an 8.8, I liked the beginning part of the episode and the final part of the episode but the middle part had so many opportunities to make life for Ashoka's group more difficult, as it should've been tabby, as we all know thrawn, his plans are always flawless. sorry if I rambled too much. PS Theory likes to theorise that's the whole point of the channel.
High expectations for a product he payed for? Geez, how could he?

Said it before and I’ll say it again, devastating that ray couldn’t see his work come to life, he was one of if not the best part of this series and they obviously had more planned with his character

R.I.P. Ray, he was truly magnificent.
@@XTeam49 Yes, need to recast the character. Probably won't be as good of an actor. I don't want them to just throw away this story line.
Him and huYang were the only decent part of the series lol which is sad because Baylan is mostly a mystery still yet is still somehow more consistent and interesting then Ahsoka and Sabine who have fully fleshed out backstories and are somehow unrecognisable from a character standpoint in this show. silver lining is because they sideline Ezra he has managed to escape being assassinated even if he's just some himbo now lol.

Nah bro it is Luke. I'll prove it. Peridea is where purgil go to die. It is associated with death. Look at death, remove e and add an r. What do you get? Darth. Most popular Darth? Vader. Vader and Darth both have five letters. You know what else has five letters? Force! Who uses the force? Jedi and Sith. Both have four letters. Luke has four letters. Want further proof? Go back to our 5 letters. If you add 1, you get 6. Kestis has six letters. Cal Kestis is a protagonist, so is Luke Skywalker. So you see, it is all connected to Luke.

Does Ahsoka still have Talzin's blade, now that her other lightsaber was destroyed? The fact that Baylan, Ahsoka, Shin and Sabine are all still there, and we now know the mortis gods have something to do with it makes me think of Thrawn's last words to Ahsoka. Especially in light of her interaction with Anakin and Vader in the WBW.

Why was he so upset about the army of the dead when he literally knew from the start that this is an adaptation of heir to the empire, and even called it multiple times himself. In what world would Darth maul come back from the dead in a completely different galaxy without them having retrieved his body. He died on tattooine, unknown to them looool how would they have retrieved his body
It’d also be difficult since according to canon (for now at least) Obi-Wan cremated his remains. It’s briefly mentioned in the “From a Certain Point of View” short story compilation for A New Hope.
Didn’t Sabine introduce herself as a descendent of Tarre Vizsla in the Dark Saber act of Rebels?
Clan Wren, House Vizsla. Pre Vizsla led his house and clan as the leader of deathwatch. My guess is that the clans swear loyalty to the leading clan's house. House Kryze was that of Duchess Satine Kryze and Lady Bo Katan Kryze.

Bringing back Maul would be incredible.. but would make zero sense for the story. My only complaint about this episode is that we only got Baylan and Shin at the very end. Mind you, it's bittersweet because Ray won't be returning unfortunately. Whether it's a season two or if this leads into the Filoni film, the story has barely begun. It certainly feels like a first chapter of a two or three part story. I myself believe Filoni knows what he's doing and what kind of story he's telling. A certain Jedi once said, "I say patience."
A lot of people dont like the first seasons of what filoni makes. Its after time they grow to enjoy it. Happened with clone wars a bit and rebels as well
Rather than Maul, I legit want Sam Witwer to have another role. Or to see a live action Ventress flashback.

Thanks for all the awesome content theory! Appreciate you man.
Why would Maul have been brought back to life on a different galaxy? His body lies on Tatooine's Dune Sea! It would have absolutely made no sense whatsoever, so how can it not happening be disappointing? That and reviving yet another character that had a perfect ending to their arc just for the fan service? Plenty of stories can be told of Maul in the years between TCW and Rebels if need be.
There’s also the fact that the only canonical source we have for what happened to Maul’s body is a short story that briefly mentions Obi-Wan cremated him on a funeral pyre. So… yeah, he’s dead. SWT was completely bonkers for thinking they’d do that. It doesn’t make any logistical or storytelling sense whatsoever.
Once again, the comments section is full of Disney shills, who can't critique anything and automatically love and think anything Disney produces is incredible
No, that is not whats going on here kid. People liked it, grow the fuck up. 😊
Why should Maul be there. It wouldn't make any sense and would be a bad descision. Maul story is over, his arc was great and came to an great end. If they would bring him back again it would ruin his character
Don’t you love how lightsabers can only chop off limbs or do real damage only when the plot calls for it…
Thank god Theory doesn’t write the scripts , bringing Maul back would have brought fan service to a super cringe level
Ahsoka: *Kills Elsbeth*
Theory: 😐
I love your videos man, you keep me connected to the Star Wars franchise and I love your videos!
Ps. I thought this was a dope finally
I got a strange idea: Baylan disappeared too much from the episode. I'm sure that as important as he had been in the series, it wouldn't have made sense to have him disappear like that. Those who work at Disney are not all stupid. We cannot deny that in a series with more seasons, the death of an actor destroys plans.
In my opinion, before the actor died, the plans were for him to get to the base of the volcano and drink from the Fountain of Power and the Pool of Knowledge.
So Shin would represent the son, Ashoka the daughter, and he in an attempt "to break the continuous cycle between light and dark side" would become the Father (sort of Abeloth legends but revisited).
And who knows if they won't make Shin drink from the Fountain of Power and Ahsoka drink from the Pool of Knowledge?
Probably in the plans was not the idea of physically corrupting him. Now maybe because they no longer had the actor and couldn't do it in time to recreate everything in CGI, they decided to leave it at that. In series 2 they use the last footage of the real actor (maybe just the footage of him arriving at the volcano to drink from the springs) and have him bribed so they can change actors.
Of course it's all nonsense and I won't have caught even half of it 😂
Maybe Balyan appeared more in the original drafts, but after the actor died, they had to cut down his role from the show.
Do you really think those who work at Disney are not all stupid?
@@blobsas692 I can't believe no one knows how to do their job.
I doubt they cut anything, there was no reason to leave the end scene with him otherwise
I think that Abeloth theory just became more of a reality. Also lines up with something Palpatine sensed.
"The Emperor was convinced that something waited for him out there - some origin of the Force, some dark presence formed of malevolent substance. He said he could feel the waves of it radiating out now that the way was clear. The Emperor called it a signal - conveniently one that only he could hear. Even his greatest enforcer, Vader, seemed oblivious to it, and Vader also claimed mastery over the dark Force, did he not? Rax believed Palpatine had gone mad."
From Aftermath: Empire's End.
That would be a hell of a callback. I doubt the show runners have even read those books lol. But if they did do Abeloth that would probably fit pretty damn well. Already it seems like a good fit for what we’ve seen of Peridia.
Abeloth would absolutely destroy all canon characters, her powers are too OP for even Lukes full potential to combat imo she’d have to be nerfed super hard for the new Jedi to win since at this time Luke still hasn’t started the new Jedi order
@@FofthShe would obviously be nerfed, just like every other overpowered legends character brought into canon.

Theory been trippin’ these days.
Simple explanation for Sabine's force sensetivity could be exposure to Night Sisters' magic. In one Episode of the Rebels Sabine was exposed to Magic of Night Sisters and fall under the Thrall of one of the spirits. But remember what mother Talzin said: We are not natural force-wielders, we steal living force and use it.
In other words. Sabine were exposed to massive amount of Stolen Living Force. And spirit of Night Sister could have enchanced her body to the point of Force Sensetivity to serve as a better host, increasing and activating Midi-chlorian biology. Just like Mother Talzin did for Savage. Later Ahsoka did discover it.
Thank god someone else actually understands the lore
Or here's another explanation: Ahsoka taught her how to use the Force...and now she knows how to use the Force. 🤯
Ezra said that Thrawn awakened the mothers. I think the cargo can be some sort of sleep capsule. Not necessarily dead night sisters. I think that would be a even greater motivation for the mothers leaving to Dathamir.

The hate in this fandom is insane, jesus these people will never be satisfied.
That Maul theory came out of fucking nowhere. Maul's corpse is probably like 6ft under the sand sonewhere in Tatooine how tf are they even supposed to have his corpse.
Agree, also there isn’t something left to reanimate. Obi-Wan build him a pyre and burnt his body. I think it’s just one passage in one of the Book „A Certain Point of View“
Josh Brolin should be the recast for Baylan. Although no one will ever replace Ray Stevenson in this role, the only other person I can picture saying those badass quotes in a deep voice is the actor that brought Thanos.
Great idea
If it's so easy to get back to the main galaxy by using Purrgil to get back, don't you think Ezra would have done that like 10 years ago? I think Shin is going to go after Ahsoka and Sabine one more time with the help of those Samuari, lose, then accept Ahsoka's invitation. Then she will tell them that Baylan is still on Peridia looking for something that's calling to him. They will go after him to try to stop him but they find a portal to Mortis.
They seriously need a better saber choreographer or better stunt double for Dawson. That was just plain out bad sword fighting. Dawson can not do this.
Agree. Dawson is stiff and slow.
I think the ending will get hate, but think of it this way: Ahsoka has never known peace, being a Jedi since childhood, surviving after order 66, and then hunting Thrawn.
Sabine is from Mandalor- a warrior planet and has been fighting the empire since their creation.
So for them to finally find peace and move on from war and be able to entrust the galaxy to their friends makes sense
Jedi aren’t supposed to be warmongers, but peacekeepers and I feel like this gives them the chance to embody that
Interesting perspective
Feeling a little conflicted, we had middle episodes that were arguably flawless, with excellent fight choreography and editing, and character writing. I think that the budget got tapped and revisions made due to the death of Ray, which lead to some very clunky editing and choreography in the final two episodes. It just didn’t feel smooth. Also, Sabine using the force was the slow build up during the whole series, so fine, I get it, the lightsaber coming back to her is literally the beginning of almost every force sensitive character’s journey in this series, and this would have been enough. The force push was completely ridiculous. With all that being said, we did get some incredible things, like the Blade of Talzin, zombie stormtroopers, Ezra building a lightsaber, Thrawn’s elite tactical strategies on display, Nightsister green magik, the Mortis gods, the owl, Anakin’s force ghost with that lovely score at the end! This could have been a 10/10, if they made it flow better and put a little more emphasis on Baylon and Shin.
Shin and Baylon had no story left in this season. Rays death had nothing to do with the flow or the action in the show
@@volksc4687most of the other theory channels discuss that they had to do reshoots/edits due to his passing.
@@ChrisVPlant if that was the case they most likely would have just cut his part entirely
Am I the only one super happy it wasn't maul? Like to me it made no sense. His body is on tatooine and nightsisters can only reanimate not create living unique beings. It was way cooler to see the storm trooper zombies. I'm a huge zombies fan, especially cod zombies. Also it totally reminded me of the novel Death Troopers!
My honest and frank opinion:
Overall, the episode was good, but like a lot of these Star Wars projects, the script needs improvement. I doesn't make any sense for Ezra and Ahsoka to struggle fighting zombie troopers when they were able to hold up a spaceship over their heads...which probably weighs several tons. And how is Sabine suddenly able to force-push Ezra onto Thrawn's ship when she was barely able to pickup the light saber? Those scenes kind of disappointed me.
I wish we saw more of Ray Stevenson's storyline. But that would probably be for another show. His talent truly commands the screen.
Ahsoka's fight scene with Morgan was better this time. Although I'd advise Rosario Dawson to take lessons on scenes.
And Thrawn's dialogue to Ahsoka was awesome. Basically, his words are his weapon. Great acting.
This guy used to be a great star wars fan, now you can see the JEALOUSY IN HIS EYES
Huyang just got done saying "I had two Kanan took the one and I held onto the other one" *gives the emitter to ezra* then SWT says "Thats looks like Kanans emitter"..... like no shit.
This dude is the typical Star Wars Fan.
Weird, high expectations and then being disappointed that they don’t come to live
He's no fan. He's an anti-fan
??? I thought the force necromancy was cool as fuck. Why are you hyping yourself up about Maul "Omg if it's maul I'm gonna lose my mind" as if though you want Maul's entire final confrontation with Obi-wan to be invalidated. Seeing the necromancy was dope; though the way the zombie troopers were put to use was kind of lackluster.
Not gonna lie, anakin's Ghost had me a tear
The best episode from the best Star Wars life action series, the best part is that everything I assumed in my theories happened. A great ending. May the force be with you and may you lead the force. ✋️
People are actually surprised that theory literally knows absolutely nothing about Star Wars Rebels. And the whole “bring maul back,” like… these takes make no sense at all. Enjoy the stories that are being told right in front of you and stop setting stupidly high expectations for yourself that have nothing to do with the story being told… it doesn’t make you look intelligent when you start criticizing things just because your stupid “theory” didn’t come true.
I dont get it man, Theory cried when Luke showed up on Mando season 2 finale, but wont drop a single tear when force Anakin show's up in the end.....I fucking drop myself in tears when i saw that moment, dave brought me back to my 12 years old and made me cry like a baby i..... I've been waiting for so long for this moment and now I can die at peace........THANK U DAVE FILONI!!!!
Huge palmface with sabine the whole episode
Maul returning would have been bad fan service. First, his body is on Tatoinee and nobody but Kenobi knows it. Second, Maul was given a slight redemption as he was dying and bringing him back would have ruined it. No logical reason for Maul to return
Technically there’s also the hiccup that Kenobi canonically cremated his body on a funeral pyre. They could always retcon that, but that feels like a very solid conclusion and makes sense.
This mf just has no clue on what to think anymore bro fr said “maul it has to be maul” like in what universe 😂💀
Btw it wasn’t luke that got the best of thrawn it was Ezra
the darth maul theory is genuinely the dumbest theory hes ever had
Im so confused, could you explain why bringing maul back wouldnt be the dumbest idea ever?
Why would you think they would bring back Maul???
Yeah honestly that’s ur worst take, maul has nothing to do with this he died, leave him dead
Tf Theory’s had some dumbass takes, but fucking Maul showing up for no damn reason? 😂😂😂 Guy begs for shitty fan service and then says they “stole his ideas” if it happens.
SWT making it obvious he didn't watch Rebels, lol.
Thrawn lost to Ezra, not Luke, lmao.
You know in hindsight the acolyte makes this look like Empire Strikes Back.
What drugs is this man ON. Bringing back Maul?! That makes negative sense. It's not a high expectation it's a completely unrealistic expectation. He has such a hate boner for Disney star wars he'll find any reason to set these expectations and then dislike it when it's not met. News flash my guy. You don't know star wars better than anybody. And it's a good thing you're not at all involved in the creative process. All you would do is fan service done wrong.
How old are you mate... "Bring back maul"😂
