I feel like the A14's external design is better. I like the sharper, more modern looking edges. The rounded edges of the A13 make it look more low end.
If the only noteworthy difference is the design, it's not worth upgrading in my opinion. I have an A13 but I'm starting to run low on internal storage. I wish the A14 had more storage.
I just upgraded from the 13 to the 14 and let me tell you, it's SO MUCH BETTER!! The 13 was extremely slow and laggy. I couldn't even type as fast as I usually do on the keyboard, and it was extremely annoying lol. I would say it's for sure worth the extra $40 for the 14.
The difference in performance come from the CPU chipset and GPU .the a13 uses Exynos 850 (8nm) but A14 uses Mediatek MT6769 Helio G80 (12 nm) - Version A which is faster than exynls 850 .but some A14 use Exynos 850 (8nm) - Version B. The A13 uses Mali-G52 GPU And the A14 uses Mali-G52 MC2 which is much faster than the A13 GPU .🌻

You have probably some strange variant of A 13, mine have 6.6 screen, 1080 resolution, etc,etc, Identically to A 14.
Yes, the 4g variant has 6.6" screen with 1080 FHD resolution. That's the one you have.
