A good little fishing trip for Gooch and Mrs Gooch too. Sure is a nice looking place to take your lady or family outside. Keep making good videos and being a good man to your woman. Good fishing and hunting to the whole GOOCHIE TV FAMILY, CREW AND FANS. 👍🇺🇸
Anna is good with the net. looks super cute in that hat too. I noticed her eyes are the color of the spring hole 👀. My favorite fish in my favorite place! Bennett will be my last stop. Thanks for taking me along Ethan.
It’s so peaceful down there! Are family has been going down to Montauk for 15 years. It’s close by I think. They taste so good!...and they fight great too! Love watching this type of content!
I have been wanting to try out Bennett Springs. Me and my family since “94 have always gone to Roaring River. Same exact concept just one of those different parks u mentioned. Super super fun times there. So many memories have been made there. One of these days i will be trying Bennett. Thanks for the video.
Enjoyed the video, I live north of Tulsa, my grandfather loved to trout fish below Ten Killer Dam (great deep water lake in southeast Oklahoma) I have never cought one
@@Chalz108 I have fished that lake once ,Bristow I think, did a lot of fishing where the verdigris and Caney rivers meet just south of oloogha( never can spell that lake)
@@denniscampbell3217 yeah hulah is ok but it's now filled with silt and I been stuck out there in my boat more than once. You can be in the middle of the lake and stand up and it will be waist deep or less. Big fish in there though. I bet where Caney and verdigris meet is some good fishing there's some big fish in both those rivers.
Hey Ethan, fly fisherman would be hating on you so hard right now lol. look up so good trout handling habits sometime. For instance you should really wet your hands before touching the fish. and if you can take the hook out without lifting them outta the water that's best. im guessing the water is pretty warm there, and it's not like your fighting the fish for very long but that warm water is deff gonna make it hard for the fish to recover. alot of those fish you catch and release will die
@@goochietv3624 oh dang well that's good. but you should still wet your hands before you pick up the fish. im not trying to be Prententeous or anything lol. I'm sure I can off that way. I like ur channel and I'm not a troll lol. I just am not a big fan of catch and release. I keep everything that's legal size and stop fishing when I get my limit even if I wanna keep catching em so bad. Not knocking anybody else who catches and releases though. Just trying to spread the knowledge so it's done as ethically as possible. FYI if you walk along the banks of trout streams you can find dead trout on the banks that have a distink human hand print on their side from improper handling. I do not know the science to why that happens, but it for sure kills fish
@@stevenperue1528 When you touch em with a dry hand it’s like making a gap in their immune system because it takes off their slime coating which to them is essentially just that, their immune system
I love Bennett Springs I've been going there for years, much better quality of fish and more of them at this park. I started fly fishing about 10 years ago and learned how to tie my own Woolly Buggers and have been killing them on it ever since. I always take a spinning outfit just in case, but rarely ever get it out of the truck. Olive green is a Great color grab a few up there at the store.
That was awesome . What section is that.

It’s like a craft puff ball or cotton with a small hook
@@goochietv3624 Thanks for the info!!!
Tighten that drag just a touch, you won’t lose so many when trying to set the hook. Good luck
3 public and one private
You should try doing it on a fly rod! It’s life changing

Dang this makes me miss trout fishing. I always used a Hildebrandt flicker spinner and twitch it as fast as you can. Trout go crazy for those things!

Trim the front of the glowball off and you'll be able to set the hook better
Good info!
Lmao it’s called a Pectoral Fin if your really wanted to know.
Great video!
LOL I have no idea what that thing is called
Beautiful location to fish 🐠 and omg catch and release should be done in net not squeezing the fish bare hands your girl needs to teach u better 🙃
your handling of the fish is abysmal
Thanks for watching!
Be careful netting each other's fish, that's against the rules. You can borrow a net, but not net another's fish!
Didn’t know that thanks
